Meet our family and friends who are helping us walk down the aisle!

Lexy Smith

Maid of Honor

This amazing young women has been my best friend since I was two years old. One of my very first memories was the day we met. We attended the same elementary, middle, high school, and even roomed together for two years at Ave Maria University. Obviously we have trouble being apart, and she decided to move to Tampa last summer to room with me. She is an exceptional behavioral therapist for special needs children, who loves the beach, volleyball, and having a good time. She is the most loyal and faithful friend and has been my rock over the past 23 years of friendship. I am proud to call her my sister from another mister!

Beau Craparo

Best Man

Beau is my one and only brother. He has always been a great example of what to do and sometimes what not to do. Beau is 10 years older than me, but some of my fondest memories are of him taking me to so many sporting events when I was a kid, which inspired my love of all sports. I'll never forget when he let me tag along with all his older friends to Rays games at the best baseball stadium in the world. He has always been there to take my side against opposing fans. He is a great dad, supportive husband and an even better brother. I am so happy to have him by my side on our big day.

Lydia Lewandowski

Bridesmaid

Growing up with three brothers no one wanted a sister more than I did. The day Lydia was born, I was so excited I had to run outside and tell everyone I had a sister. It has made me so happy to watch her grow up into the smart, beautiful, and amazing young woman she is. Being 8 years apart we definitely have our differences, but I can always count on her to make me laugh and keep me in touch with our modern world. Over the years we have connected via our love for playing sports, and I am proud of her success in softball. She may not agree, but we are more alike than she knows and I am lucky to call her my baby sister!

Luke Lewandowski

Groomsman

Luke is Rachel's youngest brother. I first met Luke when he came down to Florida for Rachel's Nursing graduation. He has always been fun to be around and I can count on him to help gang up on Rachel when she has a blonde moment. Currently he is studying economics, while also working part time. We all enjoy playing video games and board games as a family, and I prefer to have Luke on my team because he is a competitive fighter. I look forward to spending time with him during our future visits. We are so glad Luke agreed to join us on our big day!

Kayla Regan

Bridesmaid

I may have only known Kayla for two and a half years, but our friendship has grown into a sisterhood. Kayla will be my sister-in-law on September 4th, 2020. She is always there to listen and gives amazing advice. I admire her impressive time management skills and low stress attitude. Kayla is attending law school at American University, has a full time job, and planning her own wedding and still makes time for me. Growing up I always wanted a sister my age and I am blessed to finally get one. I am so excited to be a part of her big day, and I am happy she has agreed to be a part of mine!

Isaac Lewandowski

Groomsman

Isaac is Rachel's eldest brother. I have been lucky to get to know him over the last couple of years. He is known for being very punny and using lots of big, fancy words. Isaac is super laid back, one of my favorite examples was when he walked into Tony's Pizza with half his shirt torn and he didn't let it bother him. Like Rachel and I, he too is having a big year. He will be getting married on September 4th, 2020 while also beginning law school at American University in the fall. He will make a fantastic lawyer, because he rarely loses an argument. I am very excited to have him as my brother-in-law.

Sarah Perez

Bridesmaid

I first met Sarah at her annual Pete’s Place birthday party in 2018 during my first trip to Tampa. From the day I met her she has shown me nothing but kindness and I appreciate her support for Tommy and I. She is fun, energetic, and always has the best ideas. Since I have moved to Tampa she is always looking out for me, giving me ideas for the best places to eat, books to read. Sarah has the most adventurous ideas and many suggestions for things to get involved with. She has taught and encouraged me to never shy away from having a good time. I am so excited to have her as my sister-in-law!

Bruno

Groomsman

Bruno and I entered Ave Maria University at the same time . We both were pitchers on the baseball team and from the beginning built a strong friendship. Although Bruno was being stubborn, I talked him into signing up to take a room in the baseball suite. Five guys sharing a suite has its ups and downs. Some of my favorite memories with Bruno include all the McDonald's runs we would make after games getting healthy post game recovery food. He can put on a tough exterior, but he is a teddy bear on the inside and we all know it. Bruno attends law school at Loyola University in New Orleans. I am grateful he is making the trip to be apart of our wedding day!

Shealey Winship

Bridesmaid

Shealey is Tommy's youngest older sister. We don’t get to see each often because she and her family live in Chicago, but the few times we do get the pleasure of hanging out, I love being in her company. She is very creative and always a delight to have conversation with. I admire her drive and motivation in life to be successful in the work place and a wonderful mother. When Shealey is in town we always have a good time and I am looking forward to spending many holidays and family get together's with her and getting to know her better as a person and my sister-in-law!

Jacob Bachyrycz

Groomsman

I have been lucky enough to have known Jacob since High School. He and I both played baseball at Robinson. He was the best cheerleader our team could have ever asked for. Jacob really became a part of the Craparo family when he spent a whole summer at my house. We enjoyed many days casting a line in Tampa Bay. Jacob is enlisted in the Coast Guard and stationed in San Diego and will the win the award for traveling the furthest in the bridal party. We don't get to see him often, but when we do we enjoy double dating. We both look forward to having Jacob celebrate us walking down the aisle.

Miriana Lewandowski

Junior Bridesmaid

I have known Miriana her whole life. When she was born I knew she would be like another younger sister to me. It has been fun watching her grow up into an amazing, smart, and thoughtful young women. Miriana is extremely witty and has some of the best come backs. Although her hair is darker, we share the same Lewandowski afro and hassle that comes with that. We both enjoy baking treats and take great pleasure in sharing them with our family. It has been a joy growing up with her over the years and bonding as cousins. I am so happy she accepted to be a part of our big day!

Nathaniel Lewandowski

Groomsman

Rachel's brother Nate and I have a lot in common. We are only a month a part in age and both enjoyed playing competitive baseball growing up. Many people might not know this but Nate has some sick dance moves and threatened to have a dance off at Thanksgiving a few years ago. He is a graduate from Virginia Tech and has a job using his degree in aerospace engineer. Nate actually is as smart as a rocket scientist. I know Nate and I will enjoy getting to know one another more over the years to come!

Kelsi DaRe

Junior Bridesmaid

I have known Kelsi and her family for 7 years now. Needing a steady and flexible job out of high school, Lexy (MOH) mentioned a family needing help with their daughter, who has special needs, I jumped at the opportunity to meet this family. Like Tommy and I, it was love at first sight for me and Kelsi. I still remember the first day I met her. Kelsi was this young, cute, energetic 7 year old who loved reading. We went out to her play house and we read books for hours. At that moment I knew she and I would have an unbreakable bond. She has so many hobbies, including playing games, puzzles, and listening to music. Tommy and I are thrilled that Kelsi has agreed to be apart of our wedding.

Leksi Wangsness

Junior Bridesmaid

Leksi was my second job within the special needs community. When Lexy (MOH) introduced us in the summer of 2013, I still remember the little girl with the cutest smile. Her family welcomed me into their home with open arms and enjoyed accompanying them to Myrtle Beach that summer. Watching Leksi grow over those two years of working with her brought so much joy to my life. I will always treasure at all the fun we had taking trips to the pool, watching the local band, and spending hours in the basement jamming to music from Frozen. I love every visit with Leksi and her family because her love never ceases to end and I can always count on her to make my day special. Having her as part of our big day means so much to Tommy and I, and we are happy she is sharing it with us.

Harrison Craparo

Flower Girl

Harrison is Tommy's eldest niece. She has a great personality and always knows how to have a good time. She is a very active four year old who enjoys dancing, singing, and sprucing up her wardrobe with purses and jewelry. Give this girl a milkshake and she will be your new best friend. Harrison is a seasoned flower girl and we are glad to have experience coming down the aisle.

Casimir Donahey

Ring Bearer

Casimir was my first Godson. When I was asked to be his Godmother I could not have been more thrilled. He is a lively 7 year old boy with a contagious laugh. Even though there is distance between us we always have a good time when we are together. He is very competitive by nature and loves games but does not like to lose. Cas enjoy drawing, any type of learning, and is amazing at parkour. We are thrilled to have Casimir as one of our ring bearers for our special day!

Reagan Craparo

Flower Girl

Reagan is Tommy's younger niece. Her smile lights up a whole room. Even though she might be cute and sweet this little two-year-old won't shy away from showing off her daredevil moves. Reagan loves her older sister Harrison, and if you can figure out what Bubble Guppies are, she loves those too. This is her first trip as a flower girl and know she will be a exceptional job.

Joseph Lewandowski

Ring Bearer

In 2013 I was lucky enough to be a God Mother twice! Although shy at first Joseph is a fun, talkative, and very active 7 year old young man. He recently mastered the art of riding a bike and also enjoys shooting hoops. Due to recent events he has taken on an interest in various disease. Ask him a question, and he may be able to give insight on the zombie like bugs living in our world. His older sisters may say differently, but little Joe has always been a pleasant and fun kid to be around. Tommy and I are pumped to have him as one of our ring bearers.
