For those who want to kick off the weekend on the tee, come join Samip for a round at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain golf course on Friday morning. Thursday evening we will be camped out at the nearby Omni hotel, where we have a room block should you like to join us there. We'll move to the Ritz on Friday morning, where we have secured reduced greens fees and will be reserving a number of tee times - please RSVP to Samip at samipshah@gmail.com if you'd like to join.

Please join us Friday evening to say hello and kick off the weekend's celebrations with a casual evening of lawn games, music, mehndi (henna), a taste of Sonora menu and refreshing adult beverages. While the event location is only a few miles away, we have arranged for a coach to transport guests from the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain to The Highlands event location. The bus will begin taking guests to the location starting at 6:45pm and will shuttle guests back and forth for the duration of the event.

In Hindu weddings, the Groom is led to the marriage venue (hosted in the bride's village) in a procession known as the baraat. He is accompanied by a raucous group of family members, groomsmen, and friends known as baraatis, representing his village traveling to celebrate his union with him, dancing and celebrating the whole way. We invite everyone to join Samip in this age old and very fun tradition, whether you're officially part of Samip or Rachel's village. Let the party begin!

Following the baraat, the traditional Hindu ceremony will take place on the Brisa Lawn, in which Rachel & Samip will officially tie the knot.

A wardrobe change and short break - relax for a little while and switch to your fancy gear and party shoes as you get ready to celebrate the night away with us!

Continue the celebration Sunday with us- join us for a hosted brunch and cocktails (10am to 12pm) by the Ritz pool, and stay with us well beyond as we enjoy Sunday Funday in the beautiful Arizona October weather. For the NFL devotees, we've arranged for the weekly Sunday football lineup to be shown poolside. We'll be on the resort all day and evening relaxing with our family and friends - we look forward to spending some quality time with you! If you can stay until Monday, all the better.:)
