The Wedding Website of Noam Samuels and Rachel Wong
Whether you're looking for a nice day by the ocean, want to browse through local shops in Carmel, or are dreaming of giving the sea otters down at the Monterey Bay Aquarium a "hello", there are plenty of fun things to do in the area! We've listed out some of our favorites below.
17 Mile Drive

17 Mile Drive

17 Mile Drive, Del Monte Forest, CA

A beautiful and scenic drive along the Carmel coast, with multiple stops along the way to snap a photo and take in the views. This is one of our personal favorites, as it was one of our stops on our first trip together. For anyone from out of town - this is the perfect way to check out the California coast! Cost: ~$10 entry fee per vehicle.

Carmel-by-the-Sea

Carmel-by-the-Sea

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

A gorgeous hiking spot along the coast for nature lovers. This spot was made famous by Ansel Adams, a renowned photographer. If you're lucky, you'll see some sea otters in the wild here! Cost: ~$10 per vehicle.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Monterey Bay Aquarium

886 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA 93940

In the heart of Cannery Row is the Monterey Bay Aquarium, home to adorable sea otters, a variety of fish, penguins and more! This family-friendly spot is great for ocean/aquarium lovers and is ranked as one of the best aquariums to visit in the country. Cost: ~$60 / person. Buying tickets in advance is recommended, as they do sellout.

Cannery Row
