FAQs

Question

Are children welcomed at the wedding?

Answer

We will not be able to accommodate children during our wedding weekend.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, unless explicitly included on your invite, we are unable to accommodate extra guests.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are so grateful for your love and support as we celebrate this special time in our lives. We’ve decided not to have a traditional wedding registry, as we truly don’t need any more items for our home (it’s already quite packed!). Instead, if you would like to contribute in a meaningful way, we have set up a honeymoon fund to help us create lasting memories on our honeymoon. We appreciate any contribution, big or small, to help us celebrate this next chapter together!

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Suits, gowns and dresses are encouraged. Please no jeans, t-shirts etc. We also kindly ask our female guests to not wear white.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There is limited parking along the street at Monastery Beach for the ceremony therefore we recommend carpooling and coordinating with other guests if possible. The reception area (Carmel Fields) has ample parking. Note: For guests that are planning to drink, we recommend taking an Uber home after the festivities. Leaving your car overnight is allowed and fine for pickup the next morning (we’ve confirmed with the venue).

Question

Do you have any recommended places to stay in the area?

Answer

Yes, please see our Hotel Accommodations tab. Additionally, we have a few rooms in our discounted room block at the Hyatt in Monterey for those who want to spend Friday and Saturday night in the area. Please reach out to Noam for more details.

Question

Is the wedding going to be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The Ceremony itself will be outdoors and on the beach. Cocktail hour will be a mix, where guests can choose to spend time indoors or on the outdoor patio. The Reception, which is inclusive of dinner and dancing, will be largely indoors.

Question

Are there any precautions being taken for COVID?

Answer

Yes - we have several immunocompromised and elder guests in attendance. Therefore, we kindly ask that if you are experiencing any cold/flu symptoms in the week leading up to the wedding, you get tested. If you are positive and/or still experiencing symptoms, we ask you to please notify us and consider your attendance. We want to ensure all guests are comfortable and safe.
