FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rachel Todd and Nick Shed
(Picture from top of Pikes Peak June 2025) If you haven’t spent much time in CO, plan some layers! We expect it to be nice during the day, but it will likely drop 10-20 degrees when the sun goes down. Please plan accordingly with jackets and other warmer clothes! Please also check the weather when you are ready to pack for this weekend. We hope for a beautiful spring day, but things change fast, so we recommend you take a look before leaving home without a jacket.
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We'll be sending out digital invitations this spring with instructions. RSVP deadline is May 8th, 2026. Please note that we must provide our venue with a final guest count, so we won't be able to accept RSVPs after this date. We appreciate your timely response and understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm, so we ask guests to arrive by 4:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see lots of color and fun prints! Cocktail attire, such as sundresses, skirts, sandals, slacks and a nice button down. The venue has all paved walking paths, but we don’t recommend tall heels as the walkways are a little steep in a few areas and the dance floor will be on the second floor (no elevator). We do request that the bride be the only one in white.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space constraints at our Colorado venue, we've had to carefully manage our guest list. Only those specifically invited on the RSVP are welcome to attend. We've also limited plus-ones to ensure we can create an intimate celebration. For our New York celebration, we're able to be more flexible. Please contact us directly, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Due to our CO venue's limited capacity, we kindly request that guests under age 15 not attend the wedding and reception. For out-of-town guests with children, we will be providing an off-site childcare option at a private location nearby. Details provided upon request and advanced reservations required. We are happy to welcome children to our New York Celebration.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please specify any food allergies in the RSVP

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a few hotels on our Travel page that are close to the venue. Feel free to explore these options, and we encourage comparing rates and amenities to find the perfect accommodation for your trip!

Question

What airport should I use?

Answer

We recommend checking for flights into both Denver (DEN ~90 mins to the venue) and Colorado Springs (COS ~20 min to the venue).

Question

Should I worry about the altitude?

Answer

YES! Manitou Springs is at 6358 feet above sea level. Drink lots of water while here and remember 1 alcoholic drink = 2 at this altitude! Please pace yourself (with activities and consumption) both at the event and throughout your time in CO. We don't want anyone feeling sick!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have registered for a few items through Zola directly but a majority of our registry is through Amazon, found here: https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/ShedWedding

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there are approximately 50 spots at the Colorado venue. Please try to carpool when possible. Vehicles can be left overnight at the venue (pick up by noon the next day) so please use rideshare options after enjoying the open bar.

Question

What’s the address for the venue?

Answer

The venue for the wedding and reception is Craftwood Peak at 404 El Paso Blvd, Manitou Springs, CO 80829. The celebration in New York will be held at the Thomas Grasso Lodge in Greece Canal Park.
