Question

How should we dress for both events?

Answer

Our welcome party at New Belgium Brewing will be located inside and outside. Attire can be comfortable and casual. Our wedding will be located outside at Lory State Park. Weather in Colorado in July can be very hot. We also get the occasional afternoon/evening thunderstorm. Dress is casual. (Nathan says no ties!) If you are not accustomed to the brief change in temps that summer storms can bring, you may want to have a layer with you.

What should we do when we arrive at Lory State Park?

Answer

When you enter the address (Soldier Canyon Event Center 708 Lodgepole Dr. Bellvue, CO 80512) into Google Maps, it will give you directions to the pavilion. Parking is available in the lot by the pavilion. We do recommend carpooling if possible. A valid Colorado Parks Pass is required for all vehicles. We will be using tally passes for our wedding guests. Please stop at the visitor center at the park entrance to pick up a pass. The visitor center will keep track of tally passes so that we can pay entrance fees for our guests. Annual and Keep Colorado Wild pass holders DO NOT require tally passes.
