Julie and Rachel met in Virginia Beach. After their first night out together, they were best friends. They lived together for 3 years. If Rachel wasn't marrying Matt, they would still be living together. Rachel and Julie are travel buddies and soul sisters. Julie is a beautiful, smart, hilarious, and wild Italian/Jersey princess. She was recently married to her handsome pilot, Tom Helinek. Get her a glass of prosecco or a tequila shot and you'll find yourself getting tattoos at Disney World.
Austin Brochetti
Best Man
Austin and Matt met sophomore year of college at Norwich University. At first, they did not get along. A few years and beers later, they became roommates and were almost inseparable. They share a love for service to their country. Austin is currently serving in the Army and luckily only lives a couple of hours from Rachel and Matt. Matt was Austin's best man in 2018 and now Austin is happy to stand for duty. If you want to have a good conversation with Matt's Best Man, grab two Yuengling's and buckle up for some good stories.
Sarah Savage

Sarah and Rachel met in veterinary school at Oklahoma State University. They have traveled to tropical locations and climbed mountains. Sarah and Rachel have lived a life of adventure together. They have jumped off waterfalls in Costa Rica, went scuba diving with sharks in Fiji, and hunting for killer whales in the San Juan islands. Sarah is married to John Savage and they live in Oklahoma with three dogs, a cat, about 50 cows and a giant bull named "Jellybean". She is a talented veterinarian, an even better fisherman, and will make your heart sing. Ask this wild woman about her wedding in Fiji.
John Riordan

John and Matthew have been friends for what seems to be an eternity. John and Matt went to high school together in NYC, golfed together, vacationed with each other's families, and failed to stay out of trouble. They have been each others wingmen through the formative years. What you might not know is John and Matt both graduated from high school at St. Patrick's Cathedral. Now they are back for one of the biggest events in Matt's life. Grab a good Irish Whiskey and John will tell you how bad Matt's golf game was and how twenty years has not improved it.
Dinah L'Heureux

Dinah is Rachel's friend and stepmother. Rachel and Dinah have known each other for over 13 years. Rachel has learned to depend on Dinah for emotional support and practical advice on everything from; what color she should dye her hair, to answers to life's more difficult questions. She is an awesome friend and confidant. She is the best mom to Rachel's half-brother Henri and half-sister Genevieve. She is a ton of fun and will help you through life with a glass of wine and a pedicure.
Zach Reichelt

Zach is a man of many talents. Zach and Matt met on the Norwich Mountain and Cold Weather Rescue Team. Zach has provided Matt and the team with the most laughs. Zach was always willing to travel to NYC when Matt was in town for a beer at McSorely's Ale house. He has a wonderful family, a booming business and is never afraid to participate in a last minute adventure. If you would like to chat with Zach, reach for bottom-shelf whiskey (he prefers Old Crow) and enjoy the conversations of another interesting gentleman.
Lorraine McClellan

Lorraine is Matt's younger sister. She lives in Utah with her boyfriend Ed Dukette. She is just as crazy as her brother and enjoys back country snowboarding. Getting to know Lorraine has been a wonderful bonus to Rachel's relationship with Matt. Lorraine is a loving sister. She will frequently call her brother just to talk and she takes time out of her busy schedule for adventures with him and Rachel. She is lovely, talented, smart, and so much fun! Get out of her way on the dance floor. She has some moves!
Andrew Mascola

Andy, is a man of few words. He is quiet, thoughtful, and slightly unrefined. Andy and Matt have known each other since college and were also on the Mountain and Cold Weather Rescue Team. Andy has graduated to be Matt's ultra-marathon buddy. He has a gorgeous wife named Allison and four amazing children. Don't let Andy's quiet shyness fool you, he just needs a little liquid confidence and he will be out there dancing the YMCA.
Brittany Parsons

Brittany and Rachel first met a few years ago. Rachel was her mentor at an emergency hospital in Virginia Beach. She and her fiancé, Jason became great friends with Matt and Rachel. They loved having dinner parties, going to trivia nights, or soaking up the sun and a few White Claws at Chix Beach. Brittany is an awesome veterinarian, great cook and so much fun. She has two wacko golden retrievers and will happily show you MANY professional photos of them.
Mark Seigel

Mark was Matt's underclassman at Norwich University and also on the Mountain and Cold Weather Rescue Team. Mark was like the little brother Matt never had (or wanted) in college. They trained and studied mountaineering techniques together. As an upperclassman, Matt was Mark's unofficial mentor. Mark was always the serious one and occasionally the voice of reason. However, after sniffing a beer, that would all go out the window. If you sit down with Mark he will talk your ear off about flying.
