Do I need to be vaccinated to travel to Italy?

Answer

Helpful U-Tube Video: https://youtu.be/H6woM0Wjj80 The green pass is the name used in Italy for any document certifying that the holder has developed the antibodies against the coronavirus, or the certification of being negative for Covid. A green pass certification can be obtained by those: Who have completed a vaccination cycle, which means having 2 doses of either Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca vaccines or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. In this case the pass is valid for 9 months. Who have tested negative for coronavirus within the past 48 hours. This pass is valid for 48 hours Who have recently contracted and recovered from Covid-19; you’ll need to prove that with a certificate issued by the local health authority or general practitioner. In this case the pass is valid for 6 months. Starting from July 1st a Digital Covid Certificate will be available for all EU citizens. This certificate will have a QR code with all Covid-19 information of that single person.

We understand the current climate with COVID-19. We highly suggest all guests to purchase travel insurance. We are working on providing some suggestions, but feel free to purchase what works for you all. You can also contact our travel agent for assistance with travel insurance.

Will I need to pay for any of the meals / drink at the wedding events?

Answer

No, all food and drink during the scheduled events is complimentary with exception to the optional wine tasting event. We will provide transportation to and from the winery(s) directly from the Villa. If you prefer something special to drink during an event, feel free to bring it to the Villa. Breakfast is complimentary and served if you are staying at the Villa from 7:30AM-10:00AM If you choose to have lunch at the Villa, lunch is available from 12:00PM-2:00PM. Every room is equipped with 1 complimentary bottle of water (1 liter) per day. Tap water is drinkable. The Villa does have a full bar if you would like to purchase additional beverages outside of our wedding events. The Villa offers 145 different wines, as well as a wide selection of spirits (cognac, champagne, gin, vodka etc.)

No, we do have a very small group of 20 guests and would love for you to join as much as possible! If there is a part of the weekend you will not be joining, please let us know by your RSVP so we can give catering and transportation the correct number of guests in advance.

Are people flying in early or staying after to travel?

Answer

YES! We wish this to be a vacation for everyone. We are leaving on August 31st on Delta flight 794 from PHX to JFK, then to Rome on Delta flight 6707 arriving on September 1st at 12:10PM. We will then go through the COVID testing to exit the airport and get on the high speed train from Rome to Florence. We will depart from Florence Sunday on a 3:15PM flight to head to Split, Croatia and make our way to Hvar, and then leave out of Dubrovnik. Our flight on Friday the 10th is Delta flight 185 at 1:30PM to JFK. Then flight 684 back to PHX.
