She rudely barged in on the family just before Rachel turned 3 and Rachel has been stuck with her ever since. Lucky for Rachel, Jenn turned into the best travel buddy and support system a sister could ask for.

They bonded on the playground at recess in 1st grade after being introduced by one of their close childhood mutual friends. The bond stuck as they continued through many phases of life including Aimee's goth years, Rachel's boy drama, crazy college life (on separate campuses but frequently visiting one another), and Aimee's move to Israel. They have been friends for over 20 years and are each other's "oldest friend."
Courtney

In true middle school fashion, Rachel and Courtney bonded at the mall over a 10 for $10 sale at Claire's. Their bond has only grown after becoming roomies and always knowing they can rely on each other to complain about life. Courtney encouraged Rachel to finally take the plunge and commit to her dream of Travel OT but ultimately Mark stole Rachel's heart and she ended up back in Detroit. Rachel has met Courtney for hiking, sightseeing, and kayaking in cool places like California and Bolivia.

Mike showed up quite unexpectedly 10 years into Mark's life. Needless to say it took a while before they had any common interests. They definitely do now. They've been roommates, co-workers, bowling teammates, and trivia partners... But they will always be brothers.

Desk mates in 1st grade earning him the title "Mark's first friend EVER." Mark also has Brad to thank for getting him into hockey. Mark enjoyed playing 10 years of beer league hockey and 5 pond hockey tournaments with Brad.
Ryan

Randomly matched as beer pong partners with Mark in 2009. Went 12-0. Had no choice but to become best friends! After years of brodeos, hockey leagues, tough mudders, and up north trips, they've had lots of good times together.
Chad

After high school Chad and Mark hung out A LOT partaking in many activities like, video games, billiards, sporting events, gambling, and of course, golf. Mark bought his first set of clubs because Chad asked Mark to join him for a round. They've played countless rounds together and Mark plans on it being something they can do together as they become old men.

The highlight of Mark's athletic career was beating James in the 100 meter dash in 5th grade. As adults they've run at least six 5ks and two Tough Mudders together. There is probably not a single game/sport they haven't done together.
