What if COVID is still a concern?

Answer

We are requesting guests self-test at home within 24 hours of their first attended event. We are not currently requiring masks, but it is a safe space and if you prefer to wear one, there will be no judgement. We ask that if you feel ill or test positive for COVID you stay home in order to keep everyone safe and healthy.

What about parking?

Answer

There is plenty of parking downtown. The hotel does have parking available (Amway Grand Plaza Parking Garage) for $35/night to self-park and $39/night to valet park (does allow in/out privileges). You MUST use your room key to enter/exit the garage otherwise you will be charged an hourly fee. Other City of GR parking garages close to the hotel include the following: DeVos Place Louis Campau GR Public Museum Government Center Ramp For each of these garages a new day begins at 4am so calculate the cost of your parking accordingly. You may be able to find street parking, however rates, time limits, and hours of enforcement vary. New Holland The Knickerbocker does not have their own lot. There is street parking all over. Weekend metered parking downtown should be free. The closest lots to The Knickerbocker are Area 7, Area 8, and Area 9 lots if you prefer a lot or cannot find street parking. Air Garage is all over, but I personally would not use their services based on my research. For the rehearsal dinner there is street parking by New Holland The Knickerbocker via the Motu app. Mark and I usually look for a spot along Turner Ave NW. Parking is enforced until 5pm on Friday. What if I have special dietary needs?

Please let us know when you RSVP for the wedding. Our venue is able to easily accommodate Vegetarian and Vegan diets as long as we know in advance.

Why am I unable to make a reservation through the online booking link for your hotel block?

Answer

We apologize for any inconvenience! We are only able to reserve 5-10 rooms at a time and these must fill before we can add more. We are frequently monitoring the bookings, but please reach out to us if you are having trouble as we may not yet have realized we need to add more rooms to the block! We can then reach back out to you when more rooms are available. Thank you for your understanding!
