Travel & Accommodations

The Wedding Website of Rachel Smith and Mark (Bub) Rivetti
**WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING ACCOMMODATIONS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE!!** Bear in mind that prices may be listed in CAD. Prince Edward County (affectionately known as 'PEC' or 'the County') is an idyllic escape from the city- you won't find any large chain hotels here. Think trendy boutique hotels, charming inns, and cozy B&Bs. Unfortunately, these properties do not allow room blocks due to their small size and high demand during the summer months. Affordable options will book up many months in advance. ** PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE ARE NO CAR SHARE / RIDE APPS IN PEC.** (Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding.)

Travel Note

ROAD TRIP!

For those of you traveling in from the Mid-Atlantic or Northeast, we suggest making a road trip out of the long weekend. You'll be happy to have wheels in the County, as there is a lot to explore. If you are taking an extended trip, you could add on a visit to Toronto, Muskoka, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, or Montreal!

Flight

Toronto - YYZ or YTZ

PEC is roughly halfway between Toronto and Ottawa, but is slightly closer to Toronto. Toronto has two airports: Pearson International and Billy Bishop. From these, the easiest way to PEC is by rental car, and the journey should take 2-2.5 hours. We strongly encourage carpooling - please reach out if you'd like Rachel or Bub to help connect you with other guests traveling this route! Greyhound bus also runs between Toronto and Belleville, a small town just outside of the County.

Flight

Ottawa - YOW

Ottawa is the next-closest airport to PEC. From Ottawa, expect a 2.5-3 hour journey to Picton. Greyhound bus also runs between Ottawa and Belleville, just outside of the County.

House Or Rental

AirBnB

There are countless amazing and affordable AirBnBs in the County. Whether you're looking for something within walking distance of downtown Picton or something remote overlooking Lake Ontario, AirBnB has you covered!
