Wedding Party

To the Bridal Party: thank you for your love, support, inside jokes and being in our lives. We love you and we look forward to sharing our big day with you!

Allison Marquez

Mage Of Honor

Twin sister of the bride, fellow true crime lover, and Matron (Mage) of Honor, Allison (or Allie) knows Rachel better than anyone. She works hard, loves to organize and was supportive of Rachel when she needed her the most. Some people say twins are the same person, but in their case Rachel and Allison are both the same and two completely different people. Though, they don't need to talk to have a conversation - which results in weird looks by their mom, Christy. When Allison started dating her now Husband, Antonio, Rachel wasn’t so sure but then became good friends with Antonio - now Rachel calls Antonio her brother and the two bond over their love of Dragon Ball. Rachel helped Allison with a lot of their wedding planning and goes to Allison for help and advice for her own. Allison is really Rachel's other person to her personality, and they were even neighbors by pure accident from 2021-2023. Rachel is thrilled to share her big day with Allie just as Allie shared her big day with her.

Katie O'Dell

Druid

Once upon a time, Katie got twin sisters and kept asking their parents when the twins would be returned. That changed when Katie realized she had her own audience and would make the twins laugh every day. Katie is the eldest O'Dell sister and the brightest in her job, her love of books, and her love of sports anime along with her adorable cats. Katie has always been protective and supportive of her sisters, and her wild personality makes her even more loved. On her free time, Katie will try out new anime, read books in a solid weekend that usually takes people a month or more to finish, or explore Shark week and drive around listening to Taylor Swift songs none stop. Katie made the 2020 Covid lock down interesting for the twins with movie nights, testing out how long it took to annoy mom, or helping Rachel with video recording when Rachel was unemployed. Katie and Rachel would bond over books and anime, and the occasional random sounds when in public. Rachel is honored to share her big day with Katie and will find another book to nerd over.

Emilia Torres

Archer

The best friend of the Bride, Emilia (or Emi) found Rachel in middle school when all of Rachel's other friends moved away, and Emi learned how much Rachel loves Avatar the Last Airbender (which is a lot) and – like a Rouge – snaked their way into Rachel’s life and have no plans of leaving. Emi enjoys anime and would introduce Rachel to more when they hang out - even grabbing the Wii remote and sitting on her while getting her to try out new amines. When Emilia wants you to try something new, there is no limit on how far they will go to get you to watch a whole season of said something. Emi enjoys art, D&D, conventions, anime, and games and is always up for a challenge. They are funny, smart, creative, and always experiment when creating a new cosplay by hand. A true engineer at heart, Rachel is so grateful to have Emi and honored to share her big day with them.

Laura Hanks

Cleric

Another Best friend to the bride, Laura and Rachel met in high school when Laura was a senior and Rachel was a sophomore all thanks to Emilia. Laura made it clear she had Rachel on her friend list and was never going to remove it - showing how much Rachel meets to her through trading art, cat pictures, online roleplaying, and writing, and even helping plan panels with Emilia and Rachel - all successful thanks to their hard work. When Laura wasn't informed, she would be graduating by the community college the two went to in 2017, Rachel personally ordered a diploma holder and covered it with positive notes, stickers and hears as a birthday gift to Laura - which Laura has kept to this day. When Laura went through moving, bad break-ups, or needed advice, Rachel and Emilia gave her all the love and support she needed - fireworks and all. Many have learned not to leave the two alone unsupervised when a idea pops into their heads. Laura is smart, hardworking and shows her affection with warm hugs, inside jokes, and trading pictures of her cats with her besties who she calls her sisters. Rachel is thrilled to share her day with Laura with a big warm hug.

John Moriarty

Honorable Paladin

Best man and one of the Groom's closest and dreariest friends, amazing chef, massive Star Wars fan and anime lover, John is the one who got the couple together. It all started at AMC Theater's in Aurora, a chocolate shake, and the Groom's bad knee. He didn't warn Rachel (the bride) of his weird best friend when the two had become work friends long before Kyle (the Groom) started working with them. He is not sorry. John loves anything food related, anime in all forms, and is not afraid to admit what kinds he really likes (anime at least). John has experimented EXTENSIVELY on Kyle with any food creations John comes up with either on the spot or through careful planning. He isn't allowed to test his food on Rachel - unless it's sweets. John accidentally made the romance happen between the two and got to watch Kyle get on his good knee followed by a very loud "YES". The couple is more than honored to share their day with John - no milk shakes required.

Justin Heredia

Bard

Introduced to Kyle by John while Justin and John attended college together at JWU, Justin is known for his way around a good cheese cake recipe - which landed him the nickname of Cheesecake - or Cheese. Oddly enough, Justin is fine with that in ways Rachel will never understand. Baker, anime lover and hard core Convention Explorer, Cheese spends his time working in Vail Colorado and watching his favorite animes while spamming Kyle with crazy Memes that locks their friendship in even more. When he does travel East to visit, Rachel shows how much Justin means to them by tackling him in hugs which results in the two falling over a lot. Justin shaved off all his facial hair just to disguise himself with John and Beth to watch the couple get engaged. By request of the bride, he isn't allowed to shave his fabulous facial hair anymore. The couple is more then thrilled to share their day with Justin - Cheesecake.

Brian Hawley

Barbarian

Acquainted through best man John, Kyle ad Brian bond their favorite card game "Magic the Gathering" - a dueling card game involving tactics, strategies and resource management. They became friends rather quickly, Brian getting to visit Kyle at the apartment many many times and has gotten to enjoy Rachel's home made cooking from time to time. A quick friendship, but one to last throughout the ages. Next thing you know, these two will be off on another adventure with those big smiles and glee in their spirits.

Trevor Kelly

Warlock

Oldest and dearest friend to the Groom, there is more than meets the eye. Trevor, John, and Kyle call themselves "The Brain" and share the exact same personality and - oddly enough - one brain cell which they claim to take turns with. Trevor has yet to give the other two a turn after over a decade. Trevor met Kyle in Middle school and the two took a liking to each other right way. Trevor then brought John into their already crazy friendship, and things only got crazier from there. Trevor is very smart, kind, hardworking, and gets to share his life with his beautiful - and just as kind and nerdy - wife Emily. The two traveled up from Oklahoma to help the bride and groom move in 2021 and shared helpful tips when sharing a living space with other people - Thank you Emily! Kyle and Rachel are excited to share their big day with Trevor and Emily and hope to get down and funky on the dance floor.

Samuel Ricken

Lord of the Rings & Vows

Kyle's eldest nephew, he watched Sam grow up from this little child to the young man he is today. Sam is a fighter - he works through what he needs to do and handles high school like a champion. Sam plays baseball, and boy is he good at it. He will have the highest honor of carrying the rings and the couple's vows on their big day.

Antonio Marquez

Dungeon Master - Officiant

Husband to the Matron of Honor, Antonio is the type of guy that not only will speak his mind, but he will make sure you are safe. When Rachel first met Antonio, she thought he was a want to be tug. He had a mohawk, tried to talk like he had just watched 8mile, and even acted like it. Turns out, he is a big teddy bear and a lover of video games, movies, food, and anime. Antonio married Rachel's twin sister Allison in 2023, and calls Rachel and Katie his sisters - Rachel calls him her brother as well and will show him her new add on for her dice collection. Antonio is smart, loyal, kind, and a hard worker in every way possible. When things are down, the Marquez and Bride and Groom rely on each other for help, support, or just hang out to help with any rough days which usually end with Kyle and Antonio playing "Magic the Gathering" for hours on end. We love you Antonio, and we are honored to have you marry us.

Elizabeth Marie & Josh Floyd

Ranger & Priest

Elizabeth - aka Beth, Kyle and Josh share a mom, Jessica. They also share that same look in their eyes when inspiration hits. Beth, the eldest and mother of a teenage driving boy, took on the role of Josh's gradian when their mother passed in 2021. A role she has owned up to and takes very seriously. Beth also enjoys books, plants, dogs and a good puzzle. As the eldest, you can bet she has gotten away with a few well hearted pranks on Kyle - pranks they still pull on each other to this day. Josh is the youngest of the Jessie Kid Squad. He is autistic, but very creative. His hobbies? Puzzles, Legos, Movies and the sweet song he sings to Kyle every time he sees his brother. Do you know why? Well - that is Josh to know and you to find out. Beth and Josh will take their mother's place and walk Kyle down the ale on his big day. A role their mom would be very proud of.

David O'Dell

Father of the Bride

Lover of college football, old time rock and roll, and lover of American Civil War research, David is the father of the bride - his favorite even though he won't admit it out loud. David worked for Ice-O-Matic for well over 20+years before retiring in 2020 and took his wife Christy on a well-earned Disney-Covid-Retirement Trip! Lover of all things Disney, David will spend his newfound time in his backyard shop practicing woodwork, exploring more Disney Park things online, or watching his formal college football team LUS (Louisiana State University) and let the whole Bennett neighborhood know they got a touch down by yelling "TOUCH DOWN, LSU!". When his three daughters had a school event, he made sure he was in the audience listening to choirs and band concerts, watching school drama performances, or cheering in the crowd with the pep band. He and his wife, Christy, would sit behind the pep band and cheer for Rachel when the band started playing. He even got to watch Rachel march as member of the Colorado Masonic Band Camp in Greely Colorado and play with the Denver Brass. That only scratches Katie's Drama Tech work and volleyball games, Allie's Drama and Choirs shows, and so much more. He is the biggest fan his daughters have and is deeply loved by them. We love you, Dad! David will be walking Rachel down the ale and wishing Kyle "good luck".

Christy O'Dell

Mother of the Bride

Youngest of five kids and a Bennett kid through and through, Christy knows what her kids were up to before they even knew. She grew up in Bennett Colorado and wanted her kids to grow up in a safe environment out in the country - so she always knew what they were up to. Loving mother and wife, Christy learned quickly that her kids were.... interesting, but she loves them very much. She supported each daughter in every school activity they did and made sure she was heard over the crowd. Student Council bake sales - she made something. Drama, Band or Choirs - she got there early to get the best seats. Football Pep band - she bought pizza for the entire band and wore all her Bennett stuff she could grab and even let her daughters ware her Bennett High School T Shirts that fit them. Christy went to every Homecoming and Prom dress shopping night, drove all through Colorado for sport events, and willingly picked Rachel up from Conventions while Rachel was painted head to toe in gray paint with horns stuck on her head. Christy works from home and is damn good at her job. She took care of Rachel who suffered with Covid for months on end and made sure her mother - Elenore - was in a safe living center and visited her all the time with her siblings. Christy watched Kyle ask David for Rachel's hand and got so excited she couldn't help but let out a very loud and excited cheer. She gets to watch her middle child get married and will have extra tissues with her. Love you ma!

Brian Winslow

Father of the Groom

Father of the Groom and a party animal, Brian is the master of the grill and a lover of the Colorado Avalanche Hockey Team - don't mess with Brian when his game is on for, he will not be paying attention. He enjoys speeding time with his wife Sarah, his kids Kyle, Haley and Vinny, his mom Alice and his grandson Gabriel who he adores with all his heart. Brian would take his family on trips to the famous Colorado hotel, the Stanley, Disneyland and many more. While Kyle was living in Montana doing Job Cor, Brian was on the phone with his eldest son when a wasp stung Kyle on the ear and learned how much of a sailor mouth his son was - Brian laughed so hard he was crying. Wonder who he got that from. When Kyle's mom passed in 2021, Brian made sure his son was okay and called him to make sure he was alright. He was one of the many rocks to help Kyle through the hard times. Brian will get to watch his eldest child get married in 2025. Love you, Dad!

Sarah Winslow

Mother of the Groom

Kyle's Bonus mom, Sarah does not hold the title of "Step" in the mom role. She knew what she was getting into and loves Kyle has her own son - Kyle has always called her mom and always will. Sarah became friends with Kyle's mom, Jessica, while dating Brian and became friends with Jessica to the point the two moms would text each other "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY" on whatever anniversary the other was having. Sarah is THE party animal and lover of all pets and kids. She adores Kyle and her other two children, Haley and Vinny. Sarah welcomed Rachel with open arms and adores her grandson Gabriel like no Grandma has loved a grandson before. On Holiday get to togethers, she will be seen talking to as many people as she can and giving the best advice. Sarah will get to see her eldest son Kyle get married and will have extra tissues. We love you mom!

Jessica Floyd

Honored Mother of the Groom

Mother of the Groom and wine mama of the bride, Jessi was not afraid to speak her mind about her loved ones. In her 51 years of life, she raised her three children to become three amazing adults. When Kyle's dad, Brian, married Sarah, Jessi suddenly had a new friend! She and Sarah would text back and forth and wish each other a "HAPPY ANNIVERSIARY" on whatever anniversary the other was having at the time. Jessi's three kids, Beth, Kyle, and Josh were her world and she made sure they were all safe, healthy and loved. She was a caregiver to her son Josh who is autistic and made sure he was becoming a great person. She was a shoulder for her daughter Beth in hard times, the fun grandma for her Grandson Sam, and the voice of reason for her eldest son Kyle. When Rachel came into the picture, she pulled her in with opened arms and made sure she felt welcome by inviting her to church, family food, help clean the house when Jessie started watching "Hoarders” and encouraged Kyle to go to Job Corp in Montana to help him get the much-needed step in his life. When the 2020 lock down started and Kyle was finished and back home, she handmade masks for her family, friends and neighbors and kept asking "Kyle, when are you going to marry Rachel!?" She was always told by Rachel "When he pops the question, you already know the answer", which made Jessie so happy. Jessie passed away in December of 2021, but will be watching the couple exchange vows from Heaven. She will be honored and loved.
