Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Windmill features an indoor chapel for our ceremony with an outdoor patio adjacent for the cocktail hour. The reception will be in a completely indoor space upstairs- accessible via stairs or private elevator.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at The Windmill. You may even leave your car in the parking lot overnight if needed.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

It ranges from low 50s to high 60s in Carlsbad in February. Rain is a possibility during this time of year.

Is the venue WC accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is a ramp up to the entryway and flat surfaces throughout the venue. There is an elevator available for travel up to the Grand Reception Hall from the Ceremony Chapel. Restrooms are accessible.

Does the venue accommodate serious food allergies?

Answer

They do. You will be able to indicate if you have severe food allergies when you RSVP on ourr wedding website.

Will there be Vegan and Vegetarian options for dinner?

Answer

Yes! We will be able to accommodate if you need a Vegan or Vegetarian meal. There are appetizers and dessert that accommodate this as well.

Yes- there will be appetizers, entrees, and desserts available that are gluten free.
