Question

Where can I park for the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Lady and Sons is in historic downtown Savannah and therefore parking is a bit tricky. We recommend walking over from your hotel if you are staying nearby. A few nearby parking decks are listed below. Whitaker Street Parking Garage 7 Whitaker St Savannah, GA 31401 Bryan Street Parking Garage 100 E Bryan St Savannah, GA 31401 Liberty Parking Garage 15 W Liberty St Savannah, GA 31401 The drive from the chapel to Lady and Sons is approximately 30 minutes.

Question

Where can I park for the reception?

Answer

The reception is at The Alida, approximately 20-30 minutes away from Whitefield chapel. We have included a 1 and half hour gap between the end of the ceremony and beginning of the reception to allow for pictures, driving, and parking. Because parking downtown can be tricky, we recommend those staying downtown park at your hotel and walk over. For those driving, The Alida offers event valet parking for $16 for the whole evening. There are also a few parking decks a short walk from The Alida. Answer

Whitefield Chapel has plenty of free parking near the chapel. The chapel is approximately 20-30 minutes away from historic downtown and The Alida.

Question

When are family pictures going to be taken?

Answer

Group and family pictures will be taken directly after the ceremony. If you are related to the bride or groom, be prepared to hangout at the chapel for 30-45 minutes after the ceremony ends for pictures.

Question

Where can I go after the ceremony and pictures?

Answer

If you arrive at The Alida prior to the start of the reception at 5pm, you are welcome to make use of The Alida’s rooftop lounge, The Lost Square, or go for a stroll down historic River Street.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

The reception will have an open beer and wine bar. The reception venue also features a rooftop bar near the reception space for those wanting additional drink options.

Question

Is the wedding kid friendly or Adults only?

Answer

The wedding is Adult Mostly! We’d like to keep the wedding to mainly adults but if you can’t find a sitter or really want your kids to see Savannah, text Rachel and we’ll add them to the guest list.
