It all started on a normal afternoon at the University of Georgia. It was January 10, 2018, John and I both decided to stop for coffee at the campus Starbucks between classes. Only, we did not know each other yet. John happened to be in line behind me and he struck up a conversation. We spent the next hour chatting and exchanged numbers. For the next few weeks, we met for coffee then went on our first dinner date. A year and a half later, on May 14, 2019, John got down on one knee. Now, 3 years later, on May 14, 2022, we will finally say "I do!"
