Sister of the Bride - Anna, Rachel’s eldest sister, shared a room with Rachel for many years during which they endlessly fought over clothes and whose turn it was to use the car. They both thought they were really cool because they knew how to drive stick shift. Anna supports Rachel through thick and thin, including when Rachel started dating Jesse. Rachel feels so blessed to have Anna’s love, support, sisterly advice and a laugh when it's needed most.

Friend of the Groom - Jesse and Mike have been best friends since middle school and bonded while running cross country together. Mike coined the term "the Jub 180" (ask Mike for details). Rachel knew exactly what this meant, though she called it "the Jub flip". It's actually surprising Jesse and Mike are still friends after Jesse used to make it sport to set Mike's leg hair on fire. Jesse admires Mike's determination and disipline.

Sister of the Bride - Ally is Rachel's “little” sister, despite Ally’s height advantage over Rachel. Ally has a huge heart and can always be counted on for a good laugh (you can decide whether it’s at her or with her). Ally’s relationship with Jesse has grown through their weekly intramural soccer team (named "Jesse and the Rippers" of course) during the past several years and during their dogs’ playdates.

Zach Reuvers

Friend of the Groom - At first glance, you wouldn't think Jesse and Zach could be friends as Zach eats, sleeps, and breathes Notre Dame. Though the two have been buds since high school and Jesse used to hang out at the Reuvers' home a lot. Jesse admires Zach's loyalty and generosity. He also admires his emotional investment in children's movies. Zach recently had to leave the room at Rachel and Jesse's house while watching the movie "Up" because a "sad part" was coming up.

Tasha Brua

Friend of the Bride - Tasha and Rachel first met their freshman year of college and were roommates during their junior year. Rachel admires Tasha’s ability to stay grounded and grateful, even during life’s challenging moments. Tasha has an innate ability to identify and recognize the moments that are important to be present for or when others need support. Rachel and Tasha love spontaneously meeting up for yoga (Tash is a teacher!) and walks around Lake Harriet.

Sam Bach

Brother of the Groom - Sam is Jesse's little brother. Despite picking on Sam a lot in their younger years, the two have grown close in young adulthood. Jesse and Rachel enjoyed attending Sam's cross country and track meets when he ran at St. Thomas Univerisity. He is also a die hard U of MN volleyball fan:)

Friend of the Bride - Christine and Rachel also met during their freshman year of college. The two have a mutual love for travel and running (mostly) and have visited New York and Vancouver together and run marathons in Fargo, Duluth, and Minneapolis. If you’re ever confused why they are laughing, assume it’s a "Friend’s" quote—it happens way too much.

Friend of the Groom - Kellen and Jesse have been friends since 3rd grade. "Juan" (as the Lakeville crew calls him) often offers suggestions for Jesse's handy work around the house. Jesse, Rachel, Juan and Molly (Juan's wife) have made it a recent tradition to go out for Mexican food at their favorite place, El Loro.

Friend of the Bride - Another former college roommate of Rachel’s Lauren, is brimming with positivity and spontaneity. Lauren has a wonderful talent of playing off embassing moments with humour and grace. Lauren’s spent the last several years living in Boston and is soon taking on China. She is always up for an adventure and works hard to keep up her friendships.

Brett Sorenson

Friend of the Groom - Brett and Jesse became friends in high school. Brett is Jesse’s fiercest advocate – especially while reminding Rachel that Jesse is "very strong". Brett and Jesse love playing Dota, Saturday morning gym sessions and discussing real estate and bitcoin. Rachel and Jesse were thrilled to be able to attend Brett and his wife, Bekka's wedding in Cabo, Mexico.

Sister in Law of the Bride - - Rachel could not imagine a more wonderful sister in law than Lauren. She is motivated, funny, smart and thoughtful. Despite living across the country, Rachel’s shared adventures with Lauren up and down California including Sacramento, San Francisco, San Diego and San Clemente as well as comforts Lauren during her visits to Minnesota during the very un-sunny, Minnesota winters.

Brother of the Bride - Nick is Rachel's only brother (poor guy). Rachel and Nick have always been close, including their birthdays. Rachel is just 15 months older! Like Jesse, Nick enjoys fancy liquor and cheap beer. The two have become close through Jesse’s trips to California and especially (for better or worse) Nick's Bachelor party in Wisconsin. Jesse quickly fit in with Nick and his friends and even earned himself a new nickname, baby bird".

Friend of the Bride - Rachel and Lindsay first became friends during their freshman year at St. Olaf on the soccer team. Like Rachel, Lindsay hails from Wisconsin and appreciates the finer things the state offers like cheese, beer and the Packers of course. Rachel admires Lindsay's unwavering ability to do everything with a smile on her face.

Ian Biss

Brother in Law of the Bride - Ian has been around for almost as long as Rachel can remember. The first time she met him, she was crying about not being able to go to a Blink 182 concert because she had sprained her ankle playing soccer. Jesse has taken great pleasure in getting to know Ian over the last several years. He thinks Ian is hilarious, always muttering comments under his breath in an attempt to get a rise out of people. The 2 have bonded over trips to the "Big House" to watch Michigan football.

Chelsea Hanson

Friend of the Bride - Chelsea and Rachel became quick friends in college through the soccer team and watching endless re-runs of Sex and the City. Chelsea always makes Rachel laugh with her zany dance moves and playful sense of humor. Chelsea is to thank for crafting Rachel’s longest running nickname, Richard, which she often used as a code name to order pizzas under in college.

Friend of the Groom - Jesse and Greg developed a bond only possible of two people who spend years as roommates. The two are always finding themselves in trouble, usually the result of two things: fancy whiskey cocktails or the Wisconsin Badgers.

Cousin of the Bride - Rachel has always appreciated and admired Ashleigh’s sense of humor, compassion for animals and artistic talent. The two of them share tons of memories from family vacations hitting the slopes in Colorado and soaking up the sun in Grand Cayman.

Cousin of the Groom - Jesse and Brandon grew up together and spent countless time with one another at Bach family gatherings in Wadena, MN and at Brandon's family's resort. Over the years, they have stayed close and continue to come up with ways to see each other. Jesse appreciates Brandon's easy-going attitude and loyal friendship. Rachel and Jesse traveled to the Dominican Republic to celebrate Brandon’s own wedding and had a blast celebrating with him and Ashley!

Mark Sanger

Mark and Rachel are cousins and were instantly friends as they both shared March birthdays. They have many fond memories together including traveling to Colorado to ski (though Rachel could never keep up with Mark darting down the mountain as she goes "slow for safety"), celebrating Mark's 21st birthday in New Orleans, and enjoying rum runners on the beach of Grand Cayman watching the sunset.

Friend of the Groom - Mike and Jesse have been friends since Lakeville Middle School where they ran cross country together. Mike, Jesse and Greg all lived together in St. Paul for several years after college where Mike often yelled, "come on Kirk" (Iowa's head coach) at the TV during a frustrating Iowa football game. Mike always brings a joyful energy and is very thoughtful.

Meghan Fiege

Friend of the Bride - Rachel struck gold when she discovered her pre-season roommate during her freshman soccer season at St. Olaf was Meghan. Meghan instantly eased Rachel’s nerves and the two became fast friends. Rachel admires Meghan's grace, determination, fearless desire to make the world a better place for everyone. One of Rachel's favorite memories is her trip to visit Meghan and her husband, Evan, in New York while they lived there.

Will Oblak

Will and Jesse became friends in high school and became buddies on the cross country ski team. Somehow they remained friends despite Will quitting halfway through the season and leaving Jesse as the sole senior on the team:) After high school, Will joined the Marines and travelled overseas. Despite not seeing one another for long periods of time, Will always made strong efforts to maintain his relationships. He always has a smile on his face and is full of positive energy.
