What do I wear?

Answer

The attire for the welcome party on Friday is Club Casual. The attire for the ceremony and reception on Saturday is Garden Party Cocktail. Please note that the ceremony seating is in grass when selecting footwear.

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place in the Thomas Bennett House courtyard. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be covered but still partly on grass. The reception will be outdoors, covered under a tent and on a paved surface. The temperature during this time of year historically ranges from mid 70s to high 80s.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive between 4:30 and 5 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5.

There is a parking lot next to the Thomas Bennett Governor Mansion that is free to guests. The address is 69-B Barre St. Charleston, SC 29401.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We are not providing transportation to and from the ceremony, but Ubers and taxis are available. There is free parking at the venue as well. The parking lot address is 69-B Barre St. Charleston, SC 29401.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your kids, we are having an adults-only ceremony and reception due to venue capacity. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate ‘plus ones’ if your RSVP included one.
