FAQs

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Short answer: Semi-formal. Longer answer: Come wearing something you love - and can dance in! The ceremony and reception will take place largely outdoors, so be prepared for whatever the Texas weather brings.

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

We will not be rescheduling this time - no matter what! But there are growing concerns, as the number of cases rises. The staff will be masked during the entirety of the event. You are welcome to do so as well, but not required. We expect guests will have varying levels of comfort and want everyone to do what is right for them and be mindful of others. We will likely be sharing a link for guests to join by streaming video. Those details to come...

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Absolutely! Many of our closest friends and family members will have small children in tow, and we look forward to seeing you all! There is lots of outdoor space to play, as well as some indoor space. Please note, there is open water, as the property is located on the Blanco River.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Plenty of free parking right by the reception hall! Please note: As you arrive by GPS, the most prominent sign at the entrance is wooden and says "Rio Bonito Resort". (The venue doubles as a waterfront resort with cabins.) The "Waters Point" sign is not as easy to see!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! You know us, guys ;) We'll have a couple signature cocktails, as well as beer + wine and the usual suspects! Please be mindful of others, as this is a family event! ^_^
