Rooms have been blocked for wedding use at the Holiday Inn Express in Charlottesville-Ruckersville, VA. Please book soon if you intend to stay in these rooms! UPDATE: Shuttles will be departing the hotel at 4:40! We are providing transportation to and from the room blocks (nearby AirBnBs can likely be worked in as well). You can drive yourself to the venue & still take the transportation home if you choose - it's OK to leave your car overnight as long as you aren't in it! Please let us know if you'll be shuttling to the wedding so that we can plan accordingly. Shuttle times will be finalized closer to the date - stay tuned. Please arrive by 5:00 for some welcome snacks and to get comfortable. The ceremony is set to begin at 5:30 and will be held outdoors weather permitting, as will the following dinner & dancing. Virginia can be hot in June with average highs around 80-85'F, but in the evening it may cool down so consider bringing a jacket! A shuttle will be provided to bring guests from the hotel to the ceremony, and to return them to the hotel after the reception. Some requests from the venue: Please do not throw rice or confetti outdoors. Smokers are asked to limit smoking to the designated area by the berry shed.
