Our Love Story

We like to say our story started when we were 17, but depending on who you ask, the details might sound a little different. We went to two different high schools, yet somehow ended up following each other on Instagram. To this day, we still can’t agree on who followed who first. (Rachel didn’t even know he was following her. Freddy swears he followed her months before she realized.) Either way, one day Rachel saw Freddy’s profile and thought, “Okay… this kid is really cute.” Lucky for her, his Snapchat handle was right there in his bio. So she added him. He added her back. And within hours, we were talking nonstop. Who initiated things? We’ll never know, but a week later, we had our first date, and two weeks after that, we made it official: November 25, 2017. From high-school sweethearts to not-so-long-distance weekends in college (Freddy commuting 50 minutes just to see Rachel...every. single. weekend. And yes, using his mom’s E-ZPass to get over the bridge… huge shout-out to Momma B for making true love a little more affordable), we’ve been growing up together ever since. Freddy supported Rachel when she decided to go back to school for hair, and Rachel supported Freddy through the chaos of college, work, and everything in between. We’ve always balanced each other out. When we finally moved in together in August 2022, it felt like a dream our teenage selves had always imagined. Living together taught us how to be a team, but truthfully, we always have been, two people chasing the same goals and cheering each other on through every new chapter. It all started with a follow and a little teenage confidence, but somehow that turned into a lifetime of laughter, teamwork, and love (and a few friendly debates about who really made the first move). We’re so excited to celebrate our love with all of you, and if you’re looking for Rachel during the reception, check the dance floor. Freddy will be somewhere nearby, trying to keep up.
