FAQs

If you have questions other than what's listed here, reach out to Evan or Rachel.
Question

What does "Cozy Formal" dress code mean?

Answer

So glad you asked! We know dress codes can be confusing. Think tea length/floor length dresses and suits (no tie necessary). Long sleeve dresses, a wrap or pashmina, even a fur coat (faux, of course) are encouraged! The most important thing is that you wear what you're comfortable (and warm!) in. If you're trying to decide on a color, the bridesmaids will be in chocolate brown dresses and the groomsmen and Evan will be in navy suits.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

There is no shuttle to and from hotels, but we will provide an Uber code to help you pay for your trip home/back to the hotel, or to/from the airport. The code will be shared in January. If you are driving, there is plenty of parking in the lot onsite, just follow the signs when you arrive. Should you need to leave your car overnight, you're welcome to, but it needs to be picked up by 9am on Saturday, Jan 31.

Question

What if I arrive late?

Answer

We are so excited and thankful that you're making the effort to celebrate with us! However, we will not allow anyone to be seated once the ceremony begins at 4:30pm. If you arrive late, we will ask that you please wait in the lobby of the Arboretum, or go straight to the Barn and meet everyone there for cocktail hour.

Question

I see multiple Jorgensen Farms locations, which one should I go to?

Answer

Jorgensen Farms has two wedding venues - Oak Grove and The Gardens. We will be married at The Gardens, so please be sure to enter the correct address in your maps/Uber app. The address is 5851 E Walnut St, Westerville, OH 43081.

Question

Will we be outside?

Answer

As little as possible! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors. There is a very short walk from the ceremony space (the Arboretum) to the cocktail hour and reception space (the Barn).

Question

What if there's major winter weather?

Answer

We will be getting married rain, snow, ice, or sun! However, in the event of snowy or icy weather, we want everyone to be safe; please do not travel if you do not feel comfortable doing so.
