Best Man
Introducing the man who's been there since day one. Not only is he my older brother, but he's also been my best friend since 95'. Many of my core memories growing up include Mike. As kids, we were little entrepreneurs — out on the curb with our red wagon selling cups of pink lemonade, beaded bracelets and necklaces, and handmade picture books featuring SpongeBob characters and fancy cars. I'll also always remember dressing up as clowns too many years in a row for Halloween when we were little. When we got "too cool" for trick-or-treating, we would be on candy duty. Every year, we put on our best performance. Gravestones all over the yard, speakers blasting spooky music and a microphone to yell, "BOO!", as kids approached the door. I miss the simple days driving around town or to high school in the morning together blasting our homemade early 2000s CDs, including one of our favorite bops, Eminem's 'Cinderella Man'. Our bond grew even stronger when I followed Michael all the way to Rhode Island to attend the same college. I wouldn't admit it back then, but it was nice randomly running into each other on our small campus. I never got homesick knowing he was there. My college experience would not have been the same without him. From childhood shenanigans and college parties to long hikes and kayak days, he's always my go-to guy, down for any adventure. I'm grateful to have him by my side!
Maid of Honor
I met Molly in 2001 when she made me a big sister. From that day forward, I had my built in best friend. As the more reserved sister, I have always admired Molly's sense of adventure and independence. She blazes her own trail in more ways than one. She often accuses me of "copying" her, but in reality I admire her and appreciate her thoughts and opinions . She may think she's the "bigger" sister because she wins the height game, but with our six-year age gap, I always try to be the best older sister that I can be for her. Whether golfing with Dad, arguing about who the best women's college basketball team is (UConn is the only right answer), or passing a volleyball back and forth in our front yard, we create and share many experiences where we laugh and make memories together. One of my favorite memories was our impromptu visit to EPCOT without Mom and Dad. It was one of the first times that the two of us did something "adult" together, and it really helped our relationship blossom. I am lucky and proud to call Molly my sister, best friend and Maid of Honor.
Matron of Honor
College friend since 2014! Kaelyn and I met through our friend, Danielle. We lived next to each other sophomore year and roomed together our junior year. Although Kaelyn started law school our last year of college and no longer lived on campus, she was our honorary roommate senior year. From conquering our journalism thesis paper to rooting for the Pats during Super Bowl dorm parties to playing April Fools' Day pranks on our roommates, college was a blast. I'll always remember the time when our friend group went to the dining hall and walked over to the ice cream freezer for dessert. The ice cream was so hard because it was so cold. Kaelyn quickly stepped in and reminded us of her professional ice cream scooping skills and strength from when she worked at a bakery in high school. In a way, this kind of sums up the kind of person Kaelyn is — strong, confident, a leader and someone our friend group can always depend on to scoop us out of trouble or lean on when we need it most. I was honored to stand by her side as she married her best friend, Jim, in November 2022. I can't imagine my wedding day without her next to me!
Bridesmaid
I have been lucky enough to have Emily as a cousin, friend and fellow Disney-lover my whole life. She had to deal with many shenanigans that I dragged her into for her entire life. She had to endure a free nail-clipper haircut that I gave her when she was six, that resulted in Emily's first hairstyle with bangs! Now that we are older and wiser, I can always count on Emily for many of the finer things in life. She loves to entertain and pays attention to every little detail, she is a great cook and is always baking for some event, and she manages to find the coolest places to enjoy a good glass of wine and quality time together. Emily is one of the most giving and thoughtful people I know, and I am thankful to have her by my side.
Maid of Honor
Danielle is my long-time friend, acapella buddy and former college roommate. Our paths crossed at the start of our freshman year of college when we met at a rehearsal for Drastic Measures, an acapella group at Roger Williams University. We went on to singing together in the group all of college. We also were on the DM Club E-Board for many years together and performed a duet our senior year singing the unforgettable Hozier Take Me To Church/Work Song mash-up. From walking across campus to a dorm party in our crop tops harmonizing to Avicii's 'Hey Brother' and karaoke at the bar to walks by the shell path and kayaking near the Mount Hope Bridge, I always cherished every moment. Danielle is a true friend — very caring, intelligent, kind-hearted and genuine. I'm very excited to also stand by her side as she marries her amazing fiancé, Avery, on September 13th this year.
Bridesmaid
My fellow Spikeball partner, Heartbreakers band member, and "little" cousin. Shannon and I have always had a sister-like relationship. We share a love for women's basketball and for being the "favorite" grandchildren. I have spent many years teaching Shannon the art of cleaning up after family dinner. However, I am still better at it than she is. Even though we beat on each other, Shannon has always been been there for me no matter what. She is one of the hardest-working and passionate people I know.
Bridesmaid
Xenja was my very first friend at college. We met during freshman orientation and were neighbors in our dorm hall freshman year. Honestly, she was the glue to my journey at RWU. Xenja is someone who ensures everyone always feels seen, heard and included. Everyone knew who she was because she said hi and talked to literally everyone! During our freshman year, she always popped her head into my dorm room and asked if I wanted to hang out, whether it was running to the dining hall for a quick bite, going to a party or attending an on-campus event. I always admired her bubbly spirit and confidence. We ended up rooming together sophomore, junior and senior year. We had countless marketing, sociology and anthropology classes together and she was my go-to partner in crime for everything. I'll also always cherish our sunny and relaxing trips to Amelia Island in Florida. Xenja is one of the most positive, hard-working and friendliest people I know. Our core college group would not be the same without Xenja.
Bridesmaid
Claire, my baby cousin, is the youngest of the "littles." Being the oldest, I was always the one in charge of Claire. I got to hold her in all of the cousin pictures. She was such a cute toddler. My favorite recent memory of the two of us is when we wandered the boardwalk in Ocean City in the middle of the night, drinking wine, and just catching up on life. I have enjoyed watching Claire develop into the strong independent woman that she is today.
Bridesmaid
I can't believe that we've been friends for over a decade! Alissa and I met freshman year of college, living just a few doors down from one another. We grew closer through mutual friend groups and also joined the university chorus together. I'll always remember Christmas chorus concerts, our late night walk n' talks to the bridge and the time we did the polar plunge on campus in the dead of winter. Alissa is always someone that I can easily open up to and share whatever's on my mind. We always seem to be on the same page and can communicate with each other through a quick look across the room. I've also always admired Alissa's creativity from her graphic design skills to crafts of all sorts. PSA: She participates in craft fairs in the Putnam County, NY area and even launched an Etsy shop (Wicked Craft Co.) selling candles, crochet plushies, blankets and more! She's supportive, dependable and thoughtful. I'm so lucky to have her by my side on our big day!
Bridesmaid
I was lucky enough to meet my best friend and adopted sister when I was only three years old. The Carbonis and the Coluccis lived right across the street from each other. Since that time, Christie and I have been inseparable. We have been known to be very silly and to not really care what other people think of us. Our mom's have said that we are somewhat oblivious to the rest of the world when the two of us get together. I know I can always be myself around her, and we can act like fools without a care in the world. One of my favorite memories with Christie is when we tried to make pancakes on Father's Day as a surprise for her dad and it ended up being a royal mess. We still laugh about it to this day, and we think Sheryl has finally gotten over her shock of seeing the mess we made. She is a true and loyal friend, and I am honored to have her by my side on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Steph and I met during our sophomore year of college and roomed together junior and senior year. Not many people get me the way that she does. I always laugh my hardest and can be my silliest self when we're together. If I turned on some loud music in the apartment on a Friday afternoon to celebrate the end of the week, I could always count on Steph to join in and dance around like a weirdo with me, especially to the song Cake by Flo Rida. Another one of my favorite memories is when we went to Steph's place in Cape Cod and all got matching Martha's Vineyard shirts. She's adventurous and an all-around amazing and outgoing human. Our wedding day would not be complete without her there!
Bridesmaid
I met Amanda during my first semester of college. She was instrumental in initiating a women's club volleyball team. Prior to that, her only option was to play on the boys' team. We crossed paths at tryouts for the new team. We both made the team resulting in a successful women's club volleyball team, great memories and a friendship that will last a lifetime. As the "mom" of our friend group, I can always count on Amanda to be there no matter what, although she might be ten minutes late and get lost on the way. During college, we also bonded over our love for The Hunger Games, and we decided that she was actually the real Katniss Everdeen. I could not imagine my big day without having Amanda by my side.
Flower Girl
The littlest cousin, and also the sweetest. Mya has a love for drawing, unicorns, and salads! We love Mya so much and are so happy that she is excited to be a flower girl in our wedding. She and Riley will be the cutest flower girls ever!
Bridesmaid
Kerry, my twin, my nugget, my libero, and one of the best people I know. Kerry was also a member of the inaugural club volleyball team at CCSU. We met at tryouts and became instant friends. Kerry, Amanda, Lindsey and I have made some of the best memories together in our little quartet. Kerry and I share a love for buying t-shirts or hats from whatever winery, Broadway show, or event we go to. She is a fearsome friend who will fight whoever comes in the way of the people she loves.
Flower Girl
The spitfire youngest Coffey cousin! Riley loves playing basketball, gymnastics, and doing arts and crafts! She is ready for the big stage to walk down the aisle as co-flower girls with Mya!
Bridesmaid
Lindsey, the youngster in our quartet, joined our club volleyball team one year after we got started. She had not problem fitting right in with us goofballs. Lindsey is our group's event planner. She makes sure we have as many girls' days, New York adventures, and hikes as possible. She also keeps us up to date on all the latest Taylor Swift news. She is one of the purest and kindest people I know. I am so grateful to call Lindsey one of my best friends.
Junior Best Man & Ring Bearer
The coolest cousin and Godson on the block! Brayden loves his crocs, football, and calamari! He is ready to rock his shades and protect the rings at all cost!
