Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at The Heritage Hotel in Southbury, CT. Rooms available at the block rate are on a first-come, first-serve basis so please reserve your room early if you plan to stay at the Heritage! The last day to book at the block rate is June 30, 2024. Please see the "Travel and Accommodations" page for pricing and additional information. If you do not wish to use the blocked rooms, please plan accordingly!

Can I bring a date?

Please only bring guests that are addressed on the envelope of your invitation/on your RSVP.

Are babies/kids invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, we don't have the room on our guest list to invite little ones, with the exception of those in the wedding party. If you're unsure, you can see the names of everyone invited in your party when you RSVP.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal attire, for example cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, long dresses, dress pants and nice shirts, and suits with ties. Kick off those heels and change into a comfy pair of flats or shoes when the dancing starts! No sore feet allowed!

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please state any dietary restrictions on your RSVP. If you have any other concerns, please reach out to Rachel or Erica.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No. However, the hotel and wedding venue are located at the same place (at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury, CT). We encourage guests to book a room at the hotel for extra convenience!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony: Outdoors in the Stone Garden. The ground for the ceremony seating area is made of stone pavers. However, if inclement weather is expected, then the ceremony will be held indoors with A/C and heat available as needed. Cocktail Hour: Indoors and outdoors. Cocktail hour will be held in the Terrace Room with A/C and heat available as needed. Guests can also explore the outdoor patio and vineyard during this time. Reception: Indoors in the Timbers Room, with A/C and heat available as needed.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to reserve your seat but please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. You can also view the "Schedule" page for additional information. Please allot appropriate travel time in case of traffic on I-84. Any late arrivals to the ceremony will not be allowed into the main ceremony seating area. You will be guided upstairs to view the ceremony from the upper balcony.

Will there be an open bar during the cocktail hour and reception?

YES! Drinks are on us during the cocktail hour and reception!
