July 5th, 2026.
While we love your whole family, this is an adult-only celebration except for the families of those in the wedding party.
Guests are by invitation only.
We will be taking communion during the wedding ceremony. In alignment with our faith, communion is a representation of Jesus' sacrifice and God's covenantal love. It is important to us to have communion because we believe wedding vows are another picture of God's covenantal love. Our hope is that our wedding celebration reflects the joy when the Church will be fully reunited with God. We welcome all Christians who trust in Jesus's death and resurrection for their salvation to take communion with us. If you do not believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we ask that you not partake--not because you matter less to us, but because we see communion as a weighty and important meal for believers. Please do not think that you will offend us by not taking communion; in fact, you will offend us if you do not have faith but take communion and participate in a ritual you don't believe in. If you are a Christian that belongs to a church tradition that doesn't allow you in good conscience to take communion with us--we understand. Please follow your conviction. Instead of taking communion, we ask instead that you spend the communion portion of the ceremony reflecting on Christ's death and resurrection and praying for God's love to be the foundation of our marriage.
There is no transportation provided.
