If you are in town Wednesday, August 12, join us for one of our favorite things to do in Pittsburgh--Banjo Night! What is Banjo Night? Imagine a stage of 20 banjos playing old-timey songs from the Great American Songbook as the audience sings along, dances, buys raffle tickets, and consumes cheap beer and bar food. Cocktail Attire: knee length, midi length, or tea length cocktail dresses; dressy jumpsuits; tailored suits; dress pants with blazers and dress shirts; ties encouraged, but not required. See "Guest Attire Mood Board" for inspiration.
Schedule: Ceremony from 3:00-3:45 pm Unless it is raining heavily, the ceremony is outdoors, so please bring umbrellas in case it is sprinkling. Cocktail Hour from 3:45-5:15 pm In addition to light refreshments, there will be an an option to join a nature walk led by an Audubon Society educator. Please bring a change of shoes appropriate for a light hike if you would like to join. Dinner from 5:45-6:45 pm Party from 6:45-10:00 pm At the venue's request, reception and music ends at 10:00 pm. All guests and personal items must leave the park at 11:00 pm.
