The official invitations that will be sent out closer to the wedding date will have the names of the people invited. If your invitation does not have your partner’s name or “+ Guest” listed on it, we do not have enough room/space for you to bring an additional person. As much as we want to invite everyone, we had to limit plus ones to ensure that we could invite as many of our family members and close friends as possible. We appreciate your understanding, and we are looking forward to celebrating our love with you!
Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the same location: The BRIX on the Fox in Carpentersville, IL. The after party (after the reception concludes) will at a local bar (to be named). There will be shuttles provided to take guests to and from both hotel options we gave.
If you are driving, there is plenty of parking in the venue’s private parking lot, which is right outside the doors of where all of our events will be taking place. If you decide to get a ride home because you had one too many at the open bar 😉 or are too tired, no fret! We want all of our guests to be safe! Cars may be left in the parking lot overnight as long as they are moved/ picked up in the morning!
Nope! We are getting up nice and early so that we can take the bulk of our photos before the ceremony, so that no one is waiting around in between the ceremony and cocktail hour/the reception. The ceremony will be immediately followed with cocktail hour! We will post a timeline closer to the day!
Due to space constraints, only children considered immediate family will be joining us on this day. We want to invite as many people as possible, but to do that we have to limit our guest list in this way. We also want our friends and family to have as few responsibilities as possible while they celebrate with us! We appreciate your understanding!

We are having an unplugged ceremony for various reasons, so please do not have your phone out at all during the ceremony. The rest of the evening/night, take as many pictures and videos as your heart desires! We appreciate your understanding!
Some people have been asking what the bridal party is wearing/ what the colors of the wedding are. The wedding colors are browns/neutrals, gold, and dark purple, & the females will mostly be in shades of brown/taupe/tan/etc. The groom is wearing a beige suit and the groomsmen are in dark brown suits!
- Formal attire, but not black tie - Everything is inside as well with A/C, so you don’t have to account for the warm weather! Preferred: suits, collared shirts, ties Not preferred: casual summer wear, club dresses, jeans
