We're getting married!

After both being accepted into Physical Therapy School at the University of South Florida and moving to Tampa, FL from their respective homes in St. Louis and Charlotte, Rachel and Corey were brought together by a small “meet and greet” with fellow students from the program in the Fall of 2018. During a night of socializing with new friends and exploring their new city of Tampa, Rachel and Corey’s connection sparked instantly (with some help from Tito’s vodka). One of Corey and Rachel’s first dates together was spent walking along the beaches of Naples, FL, watching the sunset over the gulf from the scenic pier, and grabbing dinner at “The Old Naples Pub” after visiting with Rachel’s grandparents in town. This was a very special memory for the couple as their relationship grew, so it felt like the perfect place for Corey to take their relationship to the next level. On Memorial Day weekend of 2021, Corey got down on one knee in a beautiful park along the white sandy beach of Naples and asked Rachel to marry him. Little did Rachel know that both families were off in the distance witnessing the proposal unfold, and waiting to greet the newly engaged couple once she said “YES” (or “are you sure?", and then "YES”). The couple spent the weekend celebrating with their families in their temporary home of Florida and made memories that will last a lifetime together. Upon graduating PT school in late 2021, Rachel and Corey decided to explore a new city together and moved to Nashville, TN. The couple thought the perfect way to begin their new life together in their new city would be host their closest family and friends for their wedding in Nashville. Rachel and Corey are excited for this new chapter of their life, and cannot wait to say “I DO” in October!
