If you want to do any hiking in Sedona this place offers great recommendations - they know current trail conditions and provide information for all skill levels! Great place to stop to create a plan, grab any hiking gear you may have forgot and a monster cookie to take on the trail with you! If staying at Enchantment Resort, they have a Trail House at the resort that offers similar services - definitely worth checking out.
Sedona has 7 vortex in the area, they are at; Cathedral Rock, Airport Mesa, Bell Rock, Boynton Canyon (near Enchantment Resort), Chapel of the Holy Cross, Schnebly Hill Road and Courthouse Butte. This was the first hike we did together, its not too challenging and leads to an amazing view and unique rock bridge! There is a seating area at the turnaround point that is a perfect spot to take in the view and enjoy a snack - make sure to go out on the bridge and snap a photo!
This trail is 3.2 miles around the airport and Table Top mountain. It takes about an 1.5 - 2 hours to complete, with little elevation changes or climbing involved. This hike gives you stunning views of Sedona in all different directions. This arts and craft village inspired by Old Mexico, is in the heart of Sedona. The shops are full of home decor, clothing and jewelry made by local artist, beautiful if you are in the market for a souvenir or just to browse. There are also a few places to grab some refreshments, like ice cream from CREAM or a local beer at Oak Creek brewery and grill. Most shops are open from 10am - 6pm and parking is convenient and free. Please note, they are closed on Sundays.
ATVs are a super fun way to see alot of Sedona, they are street legal and allowed on many trails. We had a ton of fun taking an ATV out to Merry-Go-Round Point via the Mund's Wagon trail and going on the Broken Arrow trail out to Chicken Point - this trail is geared more toward ATVs and Jeeps than hikers, there are some wild rocks you can off road on and of course incredible views!
The open air pink jeeps are a fun way to see Sedona and learn more about the city and red rocks! There is a variety of adventurous tours, some go to vortex locations and ancient ruins while others offer a more rugged off roading experience. Check their website for details on tour types and booking information.
We could not stop drooling after we left this spot, the latin inspired food was tasty and the view was inspiring. We'd recommend planning your reservation around sunset and staying to enjoy a cocktail on their outdoor couches after the sun goes down to do some star gazing. Be sure to check the menu as prices are on the high end.
