The ceremony will take place outside under a pavilion. The reception will also be outside under a permanent tent with access to inside. The reception will be by a river, so it may be windy!
The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and to find your seat.
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 3:30pm. We recommend arriving early to save a seat and mingle with other guests. If you happen to be late, someone will be there to let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception, so hang tight, and we will see you at the reception! Thank you for understanding!
The groomsmen will be wearing denim blue suits and the bridesmaids will be wearing Sky Blue and Steel Blue!
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal cocktail attire. Bright spring and summer- time colors are encouraged :) Please no jeans/denim. We also kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride- whites, ivories, and creams. We would love to keep the atmosphere bright, so please limit very dark colors if possible. Also, prepare for the Michigan May weather along with being by a river for the reception. Thank you!!
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Although we love your little ones, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of children/teens who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself!
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our amazing photographer, Alexa, to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you! Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and to share them with us!
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you- get ready to party!! For this reason we encourage you to Uber/Lyft to and from the venue. Please make sure you have a way to get home or to the hotel safely.
Our ceremony will be unplugged, so we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during this time. You are more than welcome to take pictures and videos throughout the course of the reception. This is such a special day for us, and we have the most amazing photography team documenting our entire day, that way you are able to take it all in, celebrate, and be in the moment with us. Please share any photos or videos taken with us and we love to see them!
