Comfort Inn Guilford

This option is located closer to the Shoreline in Guilford, CT. It is also just a few minutes to the historic Guilford town green. It is about a 20 minute drive from this location to the wedding venue. We will be providing shuttle transportation to and from this hotel for the wedding (as well as from the Fairfield by Marriot hotel). The Comfort Inn is closest to where Rachel grew up. In order to book this hotel under the room block, you must call the hotel. You can mention the Stahl/Leathley wedding party when booking to get access to a discounted rate. The room block for this hotel has been extended until August 5th.

Fairfield by Marriott Wallingford Meriden

This hotel is located between the wedding venue and nearest major airport, Bradley International Airport (outside of Hartford, CT). It is a 25-30 minute drive from this location to the venue. We will be providing shuttle transportation to and from this hotel for the wedding (as well as from the Comfort Inn Guilford-see below). We have a discounted rate for our guests booking at this hotel using the link below. The deadline for booking with the room block has been extended to August 7th.

Water's Edge Resort & Spa

Waters Edge is a wonderful resort experience if you’re looking to truly indulge in the waterside beauty Connecticut has to offer. It is about a 20 minute drive to the wedding venue. We do not have a discounted rate at this resort but it is one of our favorites and we highly recommend considering it!

NYC Area Airports ( JFK, LaGuardia, Newark)

We know there are a lot of different airport options and it may be confusing. Flying in and out of Bradley (BDL) is definitely easier and most convenient if the flight options work for you. Depending on your point of origin, however, traveling to Bradley Airport may require a connecting flight. When flying to or from the Connecticut area, we sometimes fly in and out of NYC airports or Boston Logan as there are more direct flight options, and can at times be more affordable. Renting a car would be the best option if you would like to have a way to explore the area as neither hotel location is very walkable. If you would like to avoid renting a car, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you need help in figuring out transportation options. It generally takes about 2 hours to drive from NYC area airports to both hotels where we have room blocks. Depending on the day of the week or the time of the day, traffic can be pretty heavy around NYC so please keep that in mind when planning your trip to and from NYC airports.

Logan Airport is about 2 hours from our hotels with room blocks. There are some public transport options available from Boston Logan to the New Haven and Old Saybrook areas. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you need help in figuring out transportation options, or deciding which airport to fly into.

Bradley International Airport

This is the closest airport to the venue. There are not always direct flights to this airport. If you're hoping for a direct flight, try NYC area airports or Boston Logan. Renting a car would be the best option if traveling to this airport. Metro-North

Take the Metro-North New Haven Line from Grand Central Station to New Haven Union Station (this trip takes about 2 hours) (If you're traveling to the Shoreline area there is a commuter train available from New Haven Union Station. This is called the "Shoreline East". It stops in multiple towns along the shoreline of Connecticut)
