How did we meet?
Answer
In December of 2018, we both were working at a hospital in New Orleans. Rachel had just finished travel nursing in Maui, and Christian had been in New Orleans for the past three months as a travel nurse. It was Christian's last day on the unit before leaving to work at a different hospital, and it was Rachel's first day after just moving to the city. Throughout the shift they spent time chit-chatting, flirting (which Rachel didn't realize was happening), and helping each other with patients. With immediate interest, Christian (half friendly, half romantically) asked Rachel if she wanted to watch the Saints game that night after work. Although she agreed, Christian backed out on the offer shortly before work ended after a friend of his that he hadn't seen in a while offered to watch the game with him. The next day, Christian realized he was never going to see Rachel again since he no longer worked at that hospital. He decided to remedy the situation by calling the charge nurse phone and asking to speak with her, upon which he asked for her number and a date. We shared 3 dates in 4 days, sparks flied immediately, and the rest is history. We ended up taking a travel nurse contract together in Anchorage, Alaska after three months of dating!

Where is the wedding?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both take place at Chatfield Hollow Farm And Inn. The address is 10 Firetower Rd, Killingworth, CT. *NOTE: This location is not the same as Chatfield Hollow State Park which is nearby. Please ensure that you use the correct address if using navigation apps!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 4 PM. The parking area is about a 5 minute walk to the ceremony site so we recommend allowing some time to get from the parking lot to the ceremony. There will be golf carts available shuttling those who prefer that over walking.

What is the requested wedding attire?
Answer
Cocktail. We recommend wedges or flats as there are grassy and gravel areas at our venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is a parking lot at the entrance of the property. There will be staff directing guests where to park. The shuttles to and from the hotels will drop guests off at the entrance of the property.
