The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Since it's a Friday evening in Chicago, traffic will likely be heavier than expected, so we recommend allowing extra travel time and arriving 15–30 minutes early to get settled before the ceremony begins. Valet parking will be available at Cafe Brauer beginning at 4:00 PM. To ensure an uninterrupted ceremony, the doors will close once the ceremony begins and late entry will not be permitted.
Please join us dressed in cocktail attire. We suggest ladies wear a nice dress, dressy jumpsuit, or elegant separates — knee-length, midi, or tea-length all work beautifully (and don’t forget shoes you can dance in!) For the gents, a suit or jacket with slacks is ideal (ties are welcome but not required). We want you to feel both stylish and comfortable as you celebrate with us on the dance floor all evening long!
Whether you choose to drive or take a rideshare, we recommend allowing extra travel time, especially on a Friday afternoon and evening in Chicago. Complimentary valet parking will be available at Cafe Brauer beginning at 4:00 PM and continuing through the end of the reception. For guests staying at our hotel block, the venue is typically a 10-15 minute Uber or Lyft ride away.
If your invitation says "and Guest" then yes, if not, we would prefer that it is just you.
While we adore your little ones, we’d love for our wedding to be your night off! The celebration runs from 5pm–12am (not including travel), so please plan ahead for childcare. We’ve reserved a wonderful hotel block downtown so you can relax, celebrate, and enjoy the entire evening with us!
The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, so you’ll be comfortable no matter the weather. Our cocktail hour will be outside, but it’s covered, so you can enjoy the fresh air without worrying about the elements.
We’re so excited to share this moment with you! To fully capture the magic, we’ve chosen to have an unplugged ceremony. Please keep your phones and cameras tucked away (and on silent) so everyone can be fully present.
