We are moving forward with our wedding as planned! The ceremony remains at Jacobs church and the reception at Bennicoff farm. Due to the ceremony being inside, we ask guests to wear their masks inside the church. If you forget your mask, there will be extra masks. The reception is outside under a tent with attempts to promote social distancing. There will be hand sanitizer stations gathered around the tent. Family and friends who gather in the same circle will be placed at the same table and fewer people will be at tables. We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE masks be worn when 6 feet apart can not be maintained. There will still be a dance floor, use your own discretion and comfort level when dancing or interacting with others. If you have covid symptoms or have been in contact with a positive covid person we ask you you refrain from attending and just let us know. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!
Unfortunately, as much as we'd love to invite all of our friend's children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We hope that you will understand this decision and we very much hope you will still be able to join us on our special day!
The attire is semi-formal, (we prefer no jeans)but be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the reception will be in a hay field! For ladies that means when choosing heels choose shoes that won’t sink in the ground. The dance floor will be wood but the rest of the tent will be grass. The reception will be outside so dress appropriately for the temperature, there will be heaters but it still may be chilly out!
The reception will be on Rachel's family farm outback in a hayfield under a tent, There will be signs to guide you once you arrive at the property
There will be plenty of parking for the ceremony at Jacob’s church. For the reception, parking will be in a field
We did not reserve a hotel block. The two hotels in town are:
Yes! We will have an open bar with limited options of our favorites!
