What precautions are we taking due to COVID-19?

Answer

We understand it is a strange time to hold a wedding, but we really appreciate everyone making the trip and hope you share our excitement! Due to the current climate of the world, we politely ask that you keep your risk of exposure to a minimum during the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding and if you are able, we recommend getting a flu shot, as well as getting a COVID test before traveling to Charleston. If you are not feeling well leading up to the wedding, we completely understand that you won't be able to join us and we will look forward to celebrating with you at another time; just let us know if your plans end up changing. Charleston has a face mask mandate, so please be prepared to wear a face mask around the city and inside any buildings. Keep checking this website for updates. How should you get to Cannon Green?

Answer

Cannon Green is about a 7 minute walk (0.3 mi) from the Hyatt Place & Hyatt House. We will have a trolley running between the Hyatt complex and Cannon Green departing from the Hyatt complex at 4:15PM, 4:30PM, and 4:45PM. It will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Don't forget your face mask! No return transportation will be provided. If you are interested in driving, there is a complimentary event parking lot located around the corner from Cannon Green, which will be available from 4PM-11:30PM. The address for the parking lot is 217 Rutledge Ave Charleston, SC 29403. There will be a sign on the fence surrounding the lot and Cannon Green’s staff will be stationed at the front entrance of Cannon Green to direct anyone that needs assistance.

Our room blocks are at the Hyatt Place & Hyatt House complex on King Street (see the "Accommodations & Travel" tab on this website for more details). The hotels are connected and located on King Street in downtown Charleston. There are also lots of Airbnb & Vrbo rentals available in the area. Reach out to us directly if you have more questions on travel or accommodations!

We are having an adults-only wedding ceremony and reception. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Why did we pick Charleston?

Answer

If you know us at all, you know we share an interest in all things Southern and a LOVE for food and beverage. When we started thinking about where we wanted to get married, we made a list of possible cities, but quickly determined that Charleston would be the ideal place to bring everyone that we love together to celebrate. Charleston is one of our absolute favorite towns and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
