Wedding facts

Our FAQ page is now also the home for fun facts about the wedding that you will see throughout the reception. #RachelDrewAWinner--Rachel works in illustrations so the pun is true to life. It's why the wedding features a caricature artist. Indisputable connection--Very soon after Drew and Rachel's first date, Drew wrote on his whiteboard the words, "indisputable connection." It hasn't been erased since. Rachel had it turned into neon for the wedding. It will go from the wedding to the kitchen and serve as their wifi password. Bear and lamb cake topper--Drew's family loves animals and everyone has an animal. Drew's is a bear. Rachel means "little lamb" and she has always loved lambs. The topper is a bear and lamb in honor of this. Fun fact: Rachel's nicknames have been "lady bear" and "Hanleybear" in the past. Signature Drinks--Drew loves Friday Night Lights and Rachel loves Gilmore Girls--hence the drinks. Art canvas--In the side introvert room, there is a canvas for you to sign!
Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Under normal circumstances, we would say, "Yes," however, we are at a stage in life where the majority of our friends have multiple kids under 8. Allowing kids would add 30-50% to the wedding so we are not allowing kids.

Question

Which CTA pass should I purchase?

Answer

If you want to plan this in advance, visit transitchicago.com for details on passes. Generally, I'd say if you're going to just do trips to and from the airport via the train, you should just add funds to the fare card. Each way is $2.50. If you plan to use the train or bus at least two times a day, then a day or 3-day pass makes sense. The pass gives you unlimited rides. If you don't want the headache of figuring this out, get a 3-day pass.

Question

What comes with the beef, fish, or vegetarian option?

Answer

The tasting to finalize the menu is June 23. Right now, just choose the protein you would like. You will have the option to change after the menu is set. If you have dietary restrictions, please reach out.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional.

Question
