Andre and I are both privileged to have such incredible supports in our life that will be standing by our side on this monumental day. I am fortunate enough to have developed such strong bonds with these girls below, and I want this page to be a tribute to them. They have each taught me things about myself and the person I want to be. I could not be luckier.

Jazeri McHenry

Matron of Honor

Jaz, my ride or die. She is one of the hardest workers I know and that translates into who she is as a friend. She will be the first to be there to help and the last one there to pick up the pieces. She has done so many of times for me. We have been friends since we were kids and to say that we have been through a lot together in all those years is an understatement. No matter what life threw our way, no matter the distance between us, we always found our way back to each other. We have helped shape each other and grown together into the adults that we are today. Jaz is one of the strongest people I know and she has helped teach me not only how to stick up for myself but also how to persevere. I want to thank her for that and also for being a rock for me during some of the toughest moments in my life. I can't imagine my life without her.

Manny is just one of those people who can light up any room that she walks into. To know her is to love her. We met in college working at Skechers of all places. During one of the low points in my life, Manny assumed a role as my friend because that is just who she is. She always wants to lift others up, and I am grateful that she has done that for me. When Manny sets out to do something, she sticks to it, and that is one of the many things that I admire about her. She has taught me many things (including how to properly work out), but the most important of those is what it looks like to not give up. Not only that, but she has shown me how to give grace to those who many would not. I want to thank her for being the kind soul that she is, both to me and to everyone she encounters.

Ana Kazemi

Ana is someone who I just know was meant to be in my life. She is one of the wittiest people I have met, and no matter how serious the conversation, we almost always can find a way to make each other laugh. We were roommates in college for a year, and unlike all the other roommates we have had, we made sure to stay in each other’s lives. I am so glad we did. If I need help analyzing a situation, Ana is my girl. She is extremely intuitive and has given me so much insight into not only how others think, but also who I am. Ana truly makes me feel appreciated and respected, and I hope that I do the same for her. She is my free spirit friend, and she has taught me how to dream. No matter how difficult life gets, she pushes past it. I want to thank her for not only keeping my life interesting, but also making me feel so loved.

Tori Josselson

Tori is my soul sister. Of all my friends, she and I are the most alike (both Capricorns, of course). We played college club lacrosse together and even ran the team with one another. It was during that time that we became as close as we are. She helped me push through managing the team even when my life outside of lacrosse was hard to manage and she was always there to listen when I needed. She still is. Tori is one of the most selfless people that I know, and I admire that so much about her. She has taught me how to be easier going and that not everything always has to be so serious. She knows how to keep it real with me while also encouraging me to still keep my head up. She is easily one of the most special people that I know (and I realize how that sounds conceited since I said she and I are so alike haha).

Helena Hepler

Helena requested that I not make this too sappy, but no promises on that. She is a hoot, that one. We played college lacrosse together and were fast friends since freshman year, but I would say after college is when we became our closest. Despite lacrosse being over, we remained friends and soon became the best of friends. She is one of the most loyal people that I know. I have no doubt that she would have my back no matter what. She is always there to listen and give me sound advice, or make me laugh when I need to lighten up. Helena has taught me to put myself first when needed, and that is something that I often need to hear. If I need a pep talk, she’s my girl. She is considerate and kind and anyone would be lucky to be her friend. I am so grateful that I am.

Ainsley is one of the coolest chicks I know, and she just so happens to also be my niece. I've watched her grow into the compassionate person that she is today. She is insightful and wise beyond her years as well as a great friend to me and everyone else she is close to. I can't wait to have her by my side on this monumental day.

Jen is my witty, spunky, spirited niece. I have loved watching her find her talents and become so passionate about the things that she loves to do. I admire so much about her, and it's an honor to have her be a part of my life and the big day to come.

Abi is the newest addition to our family, and we are so happy to have her. She jumped right into the mix without hesitation and was excited to take on all of our craziness. She is determined and full of life, and I'm sure she will bring all that energy to the big day. I'm counting on it!
