Carmel-By-The-Sea is an amazing town and near Golf Destinations like Pebble Beach, Spyglass and Spanish Bay. Mission Ranch is a beautiful stay 2.5 Hours south of San Francisco.
You can't go wrong in Napa or Sonoma, but Petit Pali is a hotel in St. Helena, Napa, near and dear to Rachel and Alex. We've done weekend trips and even got engaged here. Message us for recommendations on Wineries and Restaurants in wine country :)

This hike is a little more challenging and ~2 hours, about 30 minutes north of the city. It's Alex's favorite hike and hard to beat on a clear day.
Rachel's favorite Italian restaurant in San Francisco's Mission District, where Rachel lived for years. Rachel and Alex's second date was here and the Taleggio Scarpinocc is her favorite pasta in San Francisco.
