5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Casual Attire
We can’t wait to kick off the weekend with you at Palette Tea House. To get the full San Francisco experience, we recommend taking the Powell-Hyde Cable Car straight to the party! From the Hilton, walk a few blocks west to Powell & Washington to catch the Powell-Hyde line. Ride it all the way to the end of the line at Hyde & Beach. You’ll be just steps away from Ghirardelli Square! A single ride is $9 so bring cash or download the MuniMobile App and purchase a "Cable Car Ride". If you arrive early, grab a world-famous Irish Coffee at The Buena Vista (right by the cable car turnaround), say hello to the sea lions at Pier 39, or hike up the hill for some epic Bay views. Please note: We will be serving light bites and drinks, but not a full dinner. We encourage you to explore the many wonderful restaurants nearby before or after the celebration!
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Black-Tie Optional
Please join us as we tie the knot aboard The Klamath, a historic 1924 ferry boat permanently moored at Pier 9 on the Embarcadero. Pier 9 is a beautiful, flat walk along the water from the Hilton (about 10–12 minutes). For those in heels, a quick 3-minute Uber/Lyft is very easy. We'll also be walking 10-12 minutes to the reception at Bix. It's a flat walk but the bride will be bringing a change of shoes. Immediately following the ceremony, we’ll remain on the ship’s open-air top deck for a "Sip and Shuck". We’ll toast with champagne and fresh oysters as the sun sets over the San Francisco skyline and the Bay Bridge. While the views are world-class, the Bay breeze can be brisk! We recommend a wrap or coat for the outdoor deck. The boat is permanently docked and very stable, it is still on the water! If you are prone to motion sickness, bring some ginger chews or Dramamine just to be safe.

Tucked away in a historic alleyway, this 1930s-style supper club is where we’ll settle in for a night of dinner, dancing, and classic martinis. It’s a flat, scenic 10-minute walk from the Klamath (Pier 9). Simply head inland toward the Transamerica Pyramid. A 5-minute Uber or Lyft will drop you right at the entrance of the alley.
