Erin and Rachel met when they were both working in Annapolis 10 years ago - Rachel as a legislative aide and Erin as an investigative journalist breaking all the important political news.  They quickly became shopping partners, vacation buddies, and even roommates.

Rachel and Nathan met in the id photo line at law school orientation when they made fun of each other's hair. and have been fast friends ever since - they lived together during law school, vacation together, and attend each other's family events.

Nathan Chapman

Jon and Rachel met their first year in law school and, along with Nathan, became an inseparable trio - until Jon met Alex, on Rachel and Alex's second date.  Jon and Alex quickly became close friends - Alex teaching the Jon about the freshest sneakers and flat brims while Jon taught Alex about embroidered belts and cheering for Philadelphia sports teams.
