Believe it or not, we originally met at Red Balloon Preschool of White Bear Lake in 2001! Although neither of us remember each other, we have the picture to prove it. We both went to Mahtomedi Public schools for grades K-12. We ran into each other in the hallways but we didn't have much opportunity to interact. Fast forward to 2019. Rachel had just graduated from college and Alex was enjoying a break the summer before his senior year of college started up when we finally connected through Bumble, an online dating app. There was an instant attraction and it was fun to see how much we had in common! We talked for a few weeks before finally deciding to hang out. Our first date included McDonald's, Alex spilling on himself, and a lot of laughter. It quickly became apparent to both of us that the connection we shared was rare. Little did we know that 3 years later we would become husband and wife. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
