Maid-of-Honor
When we first became friends ten years ago we had no intention of both marrying red-bearded men! Jokes aside, Mandi has been a steadfast friend throughout the years--always making an astounding effort to be there for my most critical life moments, despite the distance!

Sarah has always wanted to be in my wedding (even during those rough childhood years when I'm not sure we would have considered each other "friends"), and now is her chance! In our case, the distance (we've lived on opposite sides of the world or continent for the last decade) really did make us "grow fonder," and I'm excited to have my sister with us to celebrate!

My first college roommate and fellow "east-coast outsider," Tali and I spent much of our downtime eating cafeteria grilled cheese sandwiches while watching and gushing over wedding videos of people we didn't know. I'm so excited that she and her husband, Alex, are making the trip from sunny SoCal to be a part of our big day!

Liz and I quickly became friends after one of our professors suggested we meet up (she was just moving to campus after commuting for a semester). Having grown up abroad in Chile and recently relocated to the States, as I had, we had much in common--as well as being in the same Political Science program. We got to live together on campus and then commuted from Amish country for our last semester--walking the line at graduation together! I love that we've been able to maintain our friendship, sharing experiences of motherhood, teaching, and pursuing studies, though being miles apart.
