Her account: Our love began on a trail on the outskirts of Eagle Grove--meeting to run together a couple of times a week. I remember following our first run, getting home exhausted and unbearably sore. A somewhat novice runner, after a breathless attempt at keeping up with Adam (he claimed it had only been about two miles. I later would calculate that it was actually closer to five), I remember telling my dad in the kitchen he was a "good guy," but if nothing more were to come of it, at least I'd be in good shape. Needless to say, I got the guy and have probably never been in better shape, as our date-runs continue (though more sporadically) to this day--and time spent on the trail holds some of our most special memories. His account: I first set eyes on her in the brewery. After learning she worked at the fitness center I was more apt to going after work when she was working in the evenings versus early in the morning before work. A run to the "silo" was our first "date". Thankfully she asked to spend more time together, in which we could hold a conversation. Our runs and bike rides on the trail are still time well spent together.
