Take the Long Island Railroad from Penn Station to Greenport (changing trains in Ronkokoma). The train stops within walking distance from town.

Flight

JFK International, LaGuardia, or MacArthur Airports

These are the closest airports to the North Fork. We recommend renting a car if you plan on flying in.

Travel Note

The Cross Sound Ferry

Guests can take one of two ferries from Connecticut: The Bridgeport-Port Jefferson Ferry Departs from Bridgeport, CT and arrives in Port Jefferson, LI. Sailing Time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From there, it is approximately an hour drive to Greenport. The Cross Sound Ferry Departs from New London, CT and arrives in Orient Point, LI. Sailing Time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. From there, it is approximately a 15 minute drive to Greenport.

Rental Car

Rental Car or Hampton Jitney

Greenport is easily accessible by I-495 from NYC and points North/South/West. The Hampton Jitney leaves from the east side of Manhattan and select points in Brooklyn. The Greenport stop is directly across from the Long Island Railroad station.
