Maid of Honor
AKA "Mage" of Honor. Lauren and Rachel are cousins and BFFs. We spent every holiday, birthday and family gathering together from when we were babies through college. We were the youngest, so we naturally were always a team. Rachel is grateful for the last 5 years when Lauren moved to Colorado, as it opened doors for more silly adventures and hilarious memories. Our favorite things are going out dancing and requesting too many songs from the DJ, singing along to 90s and early 2000s music, and laughing about one of our thousands of inside jokes. Lauren knows Rachel better than Rachel knows herself!
Bridesmaid
Heather is Rachel's older sister and only sibling. We grew up making silly fake radio shows on our handheld cassette recorder, complete with the biggest improvised keyboard hits and breaking newsworthy talking points (Swamp Apes were big back then). Some of our favorite memories include seeing Hanson for our very first concert, roadtripping cross-country to visit family, and putting on low-budget concerts and theatrics for the family (who are we kidding though, it was more for us than them). Sisterbabes forever!
Bridesmaid
Katie and Rachel became friends in high school, but our friendship blossomed in our early twenties as we are always on board for the next adventure. We have traveled to the funkiest of music festivals, to the squatchiest caves of the Washington mountains, and to the beautiful blue waters off Key West. We closed down the casinos in Vegas and the clubs in Miami. All while clinking champagne!
Bridesmaid
Melanie is one of Rachel's longest and most treasured friendships. Friends since elementary school, Melanie and Rachel only got closer as the years went on. By high school we were helping each other learn to drive, being each other's prom dates, and generally just getting into mischief. Rachel loves Melanie for always being her wise and compassionate advocate for whatever life throws her way, and for being the Carrie to her Charlotte.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and Rachel met through Melanie while we were teens and instantly vibed. We both moved from Fort Myers to Denver in 2012 and have been painting the town red ever since. Our favorite things to do are catching live music, gushing over our tuxedo cats, and living the Colorado lifestyle to the fullest. Catch us any beautiful day sipping wine on the patio!
Best Man
Ryan's Bestest Mensch. Adam and Ryan met in middle school while taking the bus, as they lived one block away from each other and saw each other every day. It wasn't long until they started playing in bands together, such as A Dying Hope, Rushmore, and Virginia Reel. Today, Adam can be seen getting his butt whooped by Ryan in 2k on a weekly basis.
Groomsman
James is Ryan's older brother and only sibling. We always played together when we were kids and still get together virtually every Saturday morning to play video games, rave about movies, and catch up on the latest. Some of my favorite memories were making a Jackass tribute video (ouch) and running around the theme parks on our Florida vacations.
Groomsman
Having known "Young Tim" from his days frequenting the Webster Street Bro Op in Madison, Wisconsin, Ryan and Timmy really bonded when Timmy moved to Colorado in 2016. We do everything together-- concerts, discing, hiking in the mountains, or watching the Bucks, Packers and Brewers. My favorite memory was the roadtrip we took together in 2018 to Glacier National Park and all the incredible memories we made along the way.
Groomsman
Manny and Ryan met while in high school and instantly bonded over our shared love of music. That and we were the only emo kids in our small Wisconsin town. Over the years, we have remained close friends and travel all over the country together to see our favorite bands, including Manchester Orchestra in Cleveland, Bad Books in Chicago, and PUP in Denver.
Groomsman
Austin and Ryan met and clicked on the first day at Madison Media Institute sitting in the back row of class. Not long after that, we were living together at the Webster Street Bro Op, offering free haircuts and Netflix to anyone in need and attending all the concerts we could. These days, we connect as much as possible for special occasions or when Austin's band tours in Denver.
Groomsman
Joe and Ryan became friends when Ryan started working at The Truffle Cheese Shop in Denver in 2015. Bonding over their origins in the midwest, we quickly became best friends. We even dress alike! Our favorite things to do together are playing video games, attending Nuggets and Rockies games, discing, and sipping on the newest local craft beer. If it weren't for Joe, I may have never met Rachel.
Officiant
Micah is one of the bride and groom's very best friends. Micah and Ryan met through Austin, also at the Madison Bro Op. Parties ensued, then Micah moved to Boulder in 2012. He hosted Ryan and Timmy on their first trip out to Colorado and inspired their move to the Centennial State two years later. After Rachel and Ryan started dating, Rachel met Micah when he attended one of our weekly football and basketball watch parties. He quickly became an essential member of our squad and is one of the kindest and charismatic people we know. Thank you for marrying us, Micah!
