Travel

It truly means the world to us that you have taken the time out of your lives to come celebrate with us this weekend. We really appreciate you being here! We provided some recommendations for travel, lodging, and elevation considerations that we hope are helpful to make your trip more enjoyable. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Travel Note

Elevation

Welcome to the Mile High City! We are 5,280 feet above sea level (1,609 meters for our Canadians). As a traveler, you might experience some difficulties such as altitude sickness (headaches, nausea, dehydration). Some general rules for out-of-towners are: be sure to rest when needed, apply sunblock if you plan on being outside for long periods of time, and drink plenty of water especially if you're consuming alcohol.

Flight

Denver International Airport

Denver International Airport (DIA) is the main airport in the state and is 30-45 minutes east of Denver. Guests can rent vehicles, catch an Uber/Lyft, or take the RTD Light Rail to Union Station in downtown Denver. DIA is large and can be intimidating to some, so make sure to check out the airport map if you get a chance. For your Denver bingo card, make sure to keep your eye out for the red-eyed Blucifer blue mustang that watches over the airport.

Hotel

Hotels & AirBNBs

We are foregoing hotel blocks but there are a plethora of options to choose from. We are more than happy to help you pick the best choice that works for you! If you would like to book near the newlyweds, we will be staying at The Magnolia Hotel: 818 17th St, Denver, CO 80202 LINK BELOW If you are looking into hotels and AirBNBs in Denver, here is a list of neighborhoods we suggest that are close to the wedding venue. If you want restaurants, bars, and entertainment close to downtown... Baker / South Broadway (SoBro) --Close to venue! North Capitol Hill / Uptown River North Art District (RiNo) --Popular! Downtown Denver / Lower Downtown (LoDo) --Union Station access If you want quieter neighborhoods but still have access to food and entertainment... Highlands / Lower Highlands (LoHi) Berkeley City Park / City Park West For those with some extra room in their budget... Cherry Creek Washington Park For those who want some seclusion... Golden --Hop on 6th Ave and take it straight to the wedding venue If you have any questions or concerns about your choice place, please feel free to reach out to us!

Train

RTD Light Rail

The RTD Light Rail can connect you to many different areas in and around Denver, but it can also get you to/from the airport and Union Station in downtown Denver. One-way fare to/from the airport and downtown in $10.50 per person. The train cars for this line are very new, ADA accessible, and have storage for luggage. For getting around town however, we prefer either taking an Uber/Lyft. But we also suggest walking, biking, or scootering to take in the city!

Rental Car

Drivers

If you are planning on driving or renting a car, you will be able to park at the wedding venue in a reserved parking lot. Please also note that street parking is limited in Denver and hotels will charge parking fees.
