Things To Do
Trunk Bay
Trunk Bay is a world-renowned beach on the island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, located within the Virgin Islands National Park. Trunk Bay has received several awards, including being named the #1 Beach in the World for 2024. They have food and drinks as well. If you plan to drive (not taxi) you will need to arrive before 9am to get a parking spot.
Cinnamon Bay
Rachael and Ryan's favorite! This beach is where the locals like to go on Sundays. If you arrive early, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, and they offer food and drinks throughout the day as well.
Hawksnest Beach
This is the first beach that you will approach and it is not be under estimated! It is quaint but beautiful. Please note that there is no food or drinks options so please bring with it you desire. The grocery store has styrofoam coolers for purchase! Starfish Market or Dolphin Market are the two grocery stores we recommend.
Maho Bay Beach
This is the farthest beach, but it’s well worth the trip. It’s a prime spot for snorkeling and is known for frequent sea turtle sightings. The area also offers plenty of great food and drink options. If you’re looking for activities, you’ll find paddleboard rentals and other fun ways to enjoy the water.
Woody's Seafood Saloon
Rachael and Ryan's favorite! Go during their World's Famous happy hour and you'll see why! Don't forget to order the Cruz Bay Crack Wings. We promise they won't disappoint!!
The Windmill Bar
This is an ideal spot to catch a stunning Virgin Islands sunset. Be sure to check their website to see if live music is scheduled for the evening. They have great food and drinks as well!
The Beach Bar
A great place to grab food, drinks, and listen to live music while being directly on the water! They have a 24 hour live cam that Rachael and Ryan love to watch when they are in need of St. John. Look up "Beach Bar St. John Live Cam" on YouTube!
High Tide
Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! You also can’t beat the waterfront views and relaxed atmosphere.
Morgan's Mango
Great atmosphere and even better food! This is a more upscale dinner spot, so reservations are required and can be made through their website. I can’t say enough great things about the food here and it’s absolutely worth a visit!
The Banana Deck
A wonderful spot for dinner with lots of great options! They also have an excellent Sunday brunch featuring a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar (reservations are recommended).
Bad Kitty and Calypso Charters
This is a great day trip charter that you can see the British Virgin Island's. We have done excursions through the Bad Kitty for years and have made wonderful memories. A passport is required for this excursion.
Lime out VI
Tacos on the water!! You will need to take a water taxi out to the floating taco bar. A dry bag is mandatory as you will need to swim from the water taxi to Lime Out.
