We highly recommend renting bikes and exploring the six mile stretch of Tulum beach. Your hotel will have bikes available to check-out or rent. Hop on a bike and take the opportunity to pop in and out of bars, restaurants and shops and explore some of the most unique resorts in Tulum.
The 13th-century, walled Mayan archaeological site at Tulum National Park is a great place for a day-trip if you are planning to spend some extra days in Tulum. The tour takes about 45 minutes and can be visited on your own or through tour companies.
There are so many stunning hotels along the beach zone. We recommend stopping for a cocktail and admiring the intriguing hotel designs of BeTulum, Casa Malca, Azulik and Nomade.
There are so many private and public cenotes a bike or bus ride away from Tulum! They are truly magical. Gorgeous teal waters, some under ground in caves. Highly recommend getting to them early so they are not too crowded!
