Is a negative COVID test required to return to The States?

Answer

Many countries are requesting a negative COVID test upon return. You will be able to have a test made directly at the hotel The cost of the COVID tests is as follows: - Antigen test in the hotel $80 USD per person - PCR test in the hotel $150USD per person Please contact reservations@angelinacardenas.com to schedule your COVID test so it can be made within 72h of your departure, or for any questions or concerns regarding this process. Please check your country’s re-entry requirements before booking your COVID tests, a PCR test may be required in some countries. *Antigen test results delivered on the same day / PCR results take 24 hrs to be delivered digitally, via email.

Do I need a passport?

YES! Check to see if your passport is VALID and not EXPIRED :) You will need it to arrive in Mexico

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones this will be an adults-only celebration so that everyone can relax and enjoy the weekend. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

When should we arrive?

Answer

We will be in Tulum Tuesday December 7th through Monday December 13th. We’ve talked to many guests about extending their trip and we'd love if you can spend extra days in the area. Our welcome party starts Thursday evening and events are planned through Sunday. If you’re coming on Thursday, try and book an earlier flight. Tulum is a 90 minute drive from the Cancun airport and it will take a little more than two hours from your landing time until you reach your hotel.

Will transportation be provided between to/from airport?

Answer

Once you're in Cancun, you will need to take a 90 minute shuttle or taxi south to Tulum. It's very easy to arrange your own private transportation once you land at the Cancun airport. If you would prefer to use our concierge service, we will match you with other wedding guests and schedule a shared shuttle. See contact info below.

What forms of payment are accepted in Tulum?

Answer

Most bars, restaurants, and stores accept credit cards! However, you should carry cash for things like taxis and smaller purchases. We recommend exchanging money ahead of time through your bank or at the airport, but there are ATMs available in Tulum if needed. Remember to alert your Credit Card company that you are traveling Internationally!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Daily high temperatures are around 83°F, rarely falling below 77°F or exceeding 88°F. Daily low temperatures from 64°F to 62°F, rarely falling below 53°F or exceeding 70°F. This is the jungle so do expect humidity, it will be muggy but comfortable.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Tulum is a casual, jungle, beach town! Feel comfortable wearing whatever you want during the rest of the time. For the big day we will ask that you step it up a notch and wear something more formal. Ladies - a cocktail dress or a dressy skirt and top will be perfect! An elegant pantsuit is also appropriate. The ceremony will be held on the beach so no shoes, no problem :) The reception will be held on the jungle side so you can wear heels or your most comfortable flats, up to you! Guys - we recommend a suit or dress pants & a jacket, but a tie is optional!
