We're Getting Married!

Rachael was born in Massachusetts and raised in Sarasota, Florida. While attending Florida State University, she worked as a photographer while earning her degree in Nursing. After graduating in 2021, she began working as a Neonatal ICU nurse. Three years later, she began Nurse Anesthesia School at Emory University, where she will graduate in 2027. Rachael still enjoys photography and enjoys doing engagement and family photo shoots in the Atlanta area.

Ryan was born and raised in Connecticut. He began playing the tuba as a kid and has been passionate about music ever since. Ryan started his college career at Ithaca College before transferring to Florida State University. In 2020, after graduating with a degree in Music, Ryan began preparing to apply to medical school. After working as a medical assistant and teaching piano lessons for a couple of years, he began medical school at Emory University and is set to graduate in May of 2026. Ryan continues to practice and teach music in his free time.

Rachael and Ryan have a sweet and unforgettable story of how they met. After starting at Ithaca College, Ryan transferred to Florida State University to continue studying with his tuba professor. Forced to attend freshman orientation as sophomores in college, Ryan met Mike (a mutual friend of Rachael's), who quickly became one of his best friends. When Ryan needed a date for his fraternity's formal event, Mike introduced Ryan to Rachael. Ryan and Rachael’s blind date in 2018 was the start of something truly special—a life together filled with love, adventure, and plenty of music ♡ We couldn’t be happier that Mike will be the one to officiate our wedding.
