Quito: At an elevation of 9,000 feet above sea level, Quito can get chilly at night time (50 degrees F). During the day temperatures are usually in the 60s-80s. Bring a light jacket for night time in Quito. Macas: Located in the Amazon region, rain is not uncommon. However, showers are usually short-lived. The temperature is usually in the 70s-80s.
